I wasn't sure where to put this so forgive me if it's in the wrong thread. Anyways, last year I went snowboarding for the first time and had my fun hampered by one problem: my legs got too tired. It got to the point where I couldn't go more than maybe 20-30 feet before my thighs gave out and I would have to sit down and rest for a bit.
Fast forward to this year to my 2nd snowboarding trip and the same thing happens. This is after a year of working out my legs with squats, leg curls, etc. I had worked out my legs with snowboarding in mind but my efforts proved futile.
I'm 5' 8" 155lbs and currently squat 135 for about 3 sets of 8 so I'm not that weak by any means but my legs still burned out. My friends who don't really work out didn't have a problem with their legs burning out. Of course your legs are bound to get tired but not to the point where you can only snowboard for 20 feet without stopping.
Sorry for the long post but I'd appreciate any feedback on what I could try doing. Perhaps endurance for my legs?
