Exercise-phobic hits the gym!

Hey teamie.

Sounds like a GREAT day, I could totally go for that day. For being home lounging all day you did great on calories, I have ahard time when I am at home.

I looooveee gray's anatomy though I have not gotten to watch any of the new season on account of we cancelled our cable (at my request) but now I want to see it!!!!

Hey! I'm really sorry I keep leaving novel-length posts on your journal but you just have me so EXCITED about Grey's! HAha. So I watched it yesterday and I just want to say OMG CHristina and what's his face need to get together. He's not someone I'd think is conventionally "hot"but he's kinda ruggedddd and him standing in the shower with his clothes on made him kind of hott. HAha. Love it, love it. :) OK I promise, no more random posts haha.

I like random posts Lux! Especially about tv, haha. I'm so addicted. Do you watch the Bachelor??? Oh Jason. If you were a few inches taller... some other shows I have been known to watch: Gossip Girl, How I Met your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, The Biggest Loser, The Office, Survivor, Scrubs... LOST starts on wednesday, everyone be there or be square.

Thanks for stopping by mom2, welcome to the team! You cancelled your CABLE!!! Crazy woman. But I guess a mom has more to do in the evenings than me, haha.

Yesterday was great, today is going well. Perfect food wise. BUT tonight my neice is turning 6!! I love little kid birthday parties! She's in the Disney Princess stage right now, which I obviously love because I know all the songs. They are serving spaghetti and cake, which I can deal with in small amounts. But I'm not going over calories dammit! I want my 50 bonus points. Have a great weekend everyone!

I hope the birthday party went well last night! MMM CAKEE. Haha. That's SO ADORABLE that she's into Disney Princesses! My little cousin is turning 5 next week and she's having an Ariel / Little Mermaid themed party. I totally don't know what to get her. I wanted to buy a long, red wig but the more I think about it, the creepier it sounds. Can you imagine like a tiny girl with a red wig that's down to her ankles? Kind of creeper status. Haha.

ALSO - I LOVEE THE OFFICE. Did you see The Office on Thursday? "31!! THIRTY-ONE!" I LOVE MICHAEL. Dwight makes my life too. Totally HILAR.

Anyways, hope you do well with your eating/ exercise plan for the rest of this week! We have to kick some TEAM 1 BUTT!

Grrrrrrr. I know it's not supposed to be about the scale, but it SO IS. I've been hovering between 170-171 for a full week now. So this morning was the morning! Or it was supposed to be. Because it's the last day of the week of the challenge! What better to end it than a 169 (which I haven't seen since grade 5). But alas, my 170.0 went up a full pound to 171.0. WHY!!!

I know it's silly and petty and insignificant, but I'm working so hard for such small changes. Maybe that's how it is when you get to be a certain weight. GRRRRRR. I know I know, wait it out and the weight will drop.

I'm still a teensy bit hopeful it will be 169 in the morning. Maybe Obama can sprinkle some hope and change on my bathroom scale. Yes we can!

It took me FOREVER to get down to 169. I hovered at 170-171-172 for over a week. I think my body knew I was about to hit 169 and it was like "F-CK YOUUU, you can't be 169!" It eventually happened though. Don't worry. Just keep doing your routine. You gota kick your body's butt before it kicks you. Eventually it'll lose anddd that weight will drop. Don't be discouraged! :)

Sorry for my complaining guys, cause GUESS WHAT!!!

169.6!!!

Thanks for listening to my whining Lux and Jane! Okay off to watch some inauguration coverage!!

It's funny how you get in a routine. I make all my own meals, I know how many calories is in an egg, a cup of cereal, half a cup of cottage cheese. I know when the quiet time is to go to the gym (right after lunch).

But THEN you have to go to a conference at a little centre in the woods, sleeping in a cabin-type thing for 4 days. I love the people I'm meeting with, I'm sure it will be fun. We'll get lots of work done and play cards at night.

But food! I have to give up my control to the cafeteria-style gods. Or buffet style, I don't know. Hopefully they serve vegetables not covered in butter and meat not covered with sauce. I might take snacks with me: a few apples, almonds, etc to munch on.

And exercise! I'll probably end up doing pushups and situps and things in my room I guess. Maybe I'll organize a camp-wide snowball fight or go for morning walks (in the frigid cold).

So it's a change. But that's good! I know one thing for sure: I'll be drinking TONS of water this weekend.

Congrats on the break through the 170's and into the 160's! I sure can't wait til I get there. Many more pounds to go for me!

Do whatever you can with what resources you have at this conference. You'll be proud at the end. And drink that water, girl.

I'm so excited for you! CONGRATS on hitting 169! :) Such a great feeling.

Have a great weekend! Don't get too crazy at the sleepover. JK.

Hellooooo....

Where are you????

I saw a lot of zero's posted in the spreadsheet... Are you doing okay? (you can drop in you know, we're pretty supportive here, even when people slip and fall a bit. :grouphug: C'mon back!!!!

Hey cabbie, yeah I had a long slipup weekend. No binging or gorging or anything, but definitely over my calories, and no opportunities to exercise. I had a great time, but probably gained a pound or two.

I'm starting fresh tomorrow, but I know I might be out of the challenge. I hope not!! It's been really helping me these past few weeks. I hope everyone else had a healthy weekend, and good luck on week 4!

So, I had a pretty stellar week. Compared to last week's gain of shame, it was amazing.

Highlights include:

- losing 5 pounds (some of it's water weight, obv)
- going to my first spinning class (it kicked my behind)
- feeling good and energetic and happy all week (trust me, this is rare)

Some things to work on:

- getting enough fruit (why have an apple when you can have a piece of bread? nom nom nom)
- getting back into the pool after my cold over Christmas
- learning some new exercises, especially for the rear (is it too much to ask to have a nice bum? Or some sweeter cheeks?)

Tis all!
