Excessive Yawning

Hey again fellas,

I do this thing at work every Wednesday when we receive our cylinder shipments...I help the driver load and unload the load which consists of holding cylinders (60-100kg) in an angle in each hand and rolling them together to the desired destination. I do this for roughly one hour, at most I can be doing this for 2 hours....at first when I started working here it was quite hard - but now it's as easy as walking for me....anyhow onto the problem...I excessively yawn when doing this...I feel normal and everything but I keep yawning...I know yawning can be related to things like boredom or a lack of oxygen but I am clueless as to why I keep yawning when doing this...I don't yawn when doing my workouts in the morning...so yeah...I'm clueless....Any ideas?

For those of you who need to know:
I workout 30-40mins every morning which consists of about 10mins of stretching and 20mins a upper body/core/lower body workout.

I am 24 and weigh 192lbs in my shorts. I am 5' 11" (71inches). My caloric intake atm is very VERY low...I'm sure my deficit is near 1000 calories. My total daily caloric intake is approx 2000cals. I was yawning like this even before I started my workout/diet.

Hope to hear from you! :)

Thanks
Eric

I had a similar problem which was solved by eating something sugary, such as an apple! Worked for me, don't ask me the science behind it though!

So just try eating a *whatever sugary* like 30m-1hr before the time you normally start to yawn and see if that helps!

No, as I said after 5 years of doing this every week it has become very easy....I breath almost as though I was walking...I will try breathing a little more...and I will also try to up my level of glucose a tad bit before doing this to see what happens.

This is kind of a sustained physical endurance workout...I should know what to do since I am studying in fitness and nutrition but...meh...I haven't had the time to put a single damn minute into my studies lately...

Thanks guys.
