Ever Feel underworked?

Hi,

I`ve currently started a new workout routine which consists of 3 f.b.workouts
a week. The first consists of 2 sets of pressups, bench press, bentover row and a few other all round body exercises which total 7. these are done in sets of 3 and each week reduce in amount per set and increase in weight until the 4 weeks is up.
I have completed the first nights workout but feel slightly underworked although i worked hard at it. I`m sure the workout has done its job so to speak but do those 2 sets of press-ups really make a difference to your shoulders and core??, should my arms be nearly dropping off??!!
My nutrition is best it`s been and i`m taking in roughly 3000 cals/day.
Does anyone else feel this way or should I shut up and carry on?? ha

Thanks

If you feel under-worked, increase the intensity of the exercise or the volume of what your doing.

More weight. More sets. More total volume.

Personally, I don't think 2 sets is nearly enough. I do 5-6 sets for Military Presses and Bench Press and 3-4 sets for everything else.

Im doing a FBW 3 times per week and I had to adjust my routine several times to find the proper volume. You dont want your day 1 workout to feel insufficient, however if you cant get yourself into the gym on day 3 that doesnt do you any good. See how you finish the week and increase your total volume as needed.

thanks for your comments,

I just finished my second workout and I feel a lot more satisfied and probably wont be able to move in the morning, however i`m sure it will help me find a balance.

Loved it. Woooooo

It`s nice to be important, but it`s more important to be nice.

Why so many sets of military press as opposed to everything else?
