Oh gosh, no she doesn't know and she's mutual friends with so many people it would be a giant disaster. How I get myself into these pickles sometimes I don't know :p Anyway the night went ok, mildly awkward but not too bad. Ended up leaving just after midnight since the bar was kinda lame. My one girl friend who I hadnt' seen since before Christmas was so sweet and kept saying how great I looked :) We were celebrating her new job and she kept wanting to celebrate me - which felt pretty good :)

April 2, 2011
Lunch (slept through breakfast)
- weight watchers smart ones canadian bacon breakfast sandwich
- cup of sliced strawberries with sprinkle of splenda and splash of white balsamic
Dinner
- smart ones turkey cranberry medallions dinner
Drinks, etc
- few double vodka sodas and 1 double long island
- late night roasted garlic chicken mini pita pizza (oopps - perhaps I"ll count this as breakfast for Sat or Sun - I really wanted a happy meal so it was better than that lol)

April 3, 2011
Lunch (slept through breakfast)
- weight watchers smart ones canadian bacon breakfast sandwich

Snack
- cup of unsweetened chocolate almond milk
Dinner @ Parents
- few mutligrain chips and cut veggies with salsa and a bit of ranch
- some sort of stuffed seafood/rice burrito thing (I had half)
- 1/2 cup mashed potatoes
- asparagus
- half a small glass of wine
Dessert
- teeny tiny piece of apple dessert my mom made

*1 hour hard on the gazelle and I'll do some ab work before bed

Awesome work on breaking through that plateau! That is so motivating to me. I really need to get my eating habits back in check this week. 30 pounds is a huge success! No going back now!
I never found time this weekend to pop in the 30 day shred but I hope to this week because you are right it helps you with the toning and that is a big concentration for me right now.
Your doing so great!! Keep it up!
 
GIRL!!! AHHH! Congrats on the AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING loss! you're doing sooooo fantastic!! eeeeeeeeee! I'm all giddy now!! All your hard work is paying off! You should be so proud of yourself! Congrats again!

As for the boy drama! I hate that :( Geesh, boys!! Such pains, eh!?! But with your loss, I bet you're looking mighty fine, and he's going to be daaaaaaaaaamn jealous!! hehehe! Not that you want that, but I always feel good if I can make an old flame jealous :)

You're doing great girl! Your attitude and results is so encouraging!! :)
 
I can't believe how much you have accomplished and I love it that everyone is celebrating you!

I also love your attitude about being single because I loved being single! It was lots of fun and I was much pickier then my friends about who I dated. Some of my friends HAD to have ANYONE who would have them so they dated some HUGE lemons.

Respect and love yourself and find someone who does the same is my motto :)

Thanks Lisa - yeah my weight lately seems to be steady for about 1.5-2.5 weeks then it drops off , it's really weird but I'm glad I reduced my weigh ons so this doesn't derail me too much when I'm in my non-budging-scale times ;) I'm still stuck on Level 1 of 30DS but mostly because I really like it haha. I tried 2 once but it was after 1 so I was beat and I haven't even started on 3 haha.

Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank youuuuu :D :) I'm feeling great now that things are starting to show so it's definitely giving me the motivation to keep trucking along - now that I realize things dont' have to be drastic to get results just keep chugging along and things will happen.

haha yes boy drama is the worst! lol. haha and you were right about that jealous thing - that was totally what happened (of course not that I was hoping that would happen ;) but hey it's definitely a perk :p)

Thanks Tally - yes I never want to be one of those sad cliche single gals. Of course there are times when being single sucks but most of the time I have a heck of a lot of fun and it's nice to be able to be completely selfish at this point in my life - it's also nice to have the time to focus on myself and my health right now without worry about fitting someone else into it ;) It's all about me right now :D

Ugg - so I've had to open on Reception this week at work so it's been early days and I've been staying until my regular time so I'm having a hard time organizing my evenings while having to go to bed earlier so I haven't posted here much this week so far - but I've still been keeping up with things - hope you've all been well :D

Monday was my official 3 month mark!! yay :hurray: Well the first week of this was just switching to better foods - not really cutting down and I didn't start the exercise until about 2 weeks into it but January 4th was still my official start day :D

April 4, 2011
Breakfast
- special k cereal with low cal yogurt and small handful of blueberries
Snack
- mini light babybel cheese and half a v8
Lunch
- weight watchers whole grain flat bun with fat free ham, 1/2 laughing cow cheese and dijon
- sliced strawberries, baby carrots, snap peas and cherry tomatoes
Dinner
- other 1/2 of seafood/rice wrap
- 1/2 cup mashed potatoes
- broccoli with 2 tbsp black bean sauce
Snack
- two whole grain crackers with hummus

*1 Hour on Gazelle + Various ab work

Breakfast
- weight watchers whole grain flat bun with 1.5 tbsp light peanut butter and two sliced strawberries
Snack
- handful of mixed nuts (I get so munchy at reception - it's awful - probably boredom haha)
Lunch
- whole grain mini wrap with turkey, tomato and tbsp tsatsiki sauce
- sliced strawberries, baby carrots, snap peas and cherry tomatoes
Snack
- 6 pretzels
- 15 jelly beans
Dinner
- hard boiled egg
- 1/2 cup scrambled egg beater with hot sauce and a sprinkle of light mozza with 3 tbsp salsa
- 1/2 salmon fillet with salsa

*50 Min Gazelle + Various Ab Work

April 6, 2011
Breakfast
- reduced sugar oatmeal with low cal yogurt and 1 chopped strawberry
Snack
- 5 pretzels
Lunch
- whole grain mini wrap with thai peanut tuna
- sliced strawberries, baby carrots, snap peas and cherry tomatoes
Snack
- 5 pretzels and 10 jelly beans (gack - I blame pre-TOM on this - what the heck - soooo munchy)
Dinner
- Wendys - jr hamburger (no cheese, no mayo) and small chilli (no crackers)

Hi, i'm new around here. I just read a bit at the beginning of your diary. Looked at your pictures. Saw a pretty girl. Its great to see you are starting to include vegetables in your diet. I hope you can eliminate the jellybeans and things like that soon too. I find that banishing all sugar foods the easiest way to deal with them. There are good takeaway foods if you get caught short and decent meals make you feel more satisfied. I think planning meals ahead and shopping for them is a way to be help avoid those high cal low satisfaction foods. Keep going.
 
Hey great work so far this week!! I can't believe you've only been at it for 3 months and already 30 pounds lost - that's impressive girl!!
Great food and workout log so far - only a couple days left to end the week strong! Keep it up!
I can't remember if you mentioned it and maybe you don't want to but do you go by Arianna or Erin or neither?
 
I can't believe your amazing results in 3 months!! I also can't believe your trip is at the end of next month already!! Time flys by so fast :) You are doing so well with balancing exercise and food! I am super jealous as my splurges get so big but its because I like to store them up and then I develop what I call the sweet mouth lol but I think I do better that way. Sometimes I just enjoy being unhealthy lol

I hope you get some much needed R&R this weekend and some awesome play time with some friends!
 
Wow I'm the worst! Poor poor diary and forum you got shuffled to the bottom of my priority list this last month! Between a bunch of changes at work and hockey playoffs (go Canucks!) things have been pretty hectic. I definitely have to go through and update myself with everyone else's diary :)

Things are pretty much the same with me. Still keeping my own food diary every day and doing my exercise 5 times a week (though I'll admit most of my 1 hour sessions have reduced to 30-45 minutes) Had a nasty few weeks of a plateau at about 175lbs (this could have also been due to extra beer and such from all those hockey games at the pub - damn you play offs haha) but just swept by that this past weekend and am sitting at about 168lbs right now which I'm super happy with :)

Vegas in less than three weeks and my goal for that was to be at 165lbs so even if I don't hit that by then it's pretty darn close already! I've got lots of new cute dresses for my trip and even some new swimsuits so yay :D I imagine the drinking and extra food will pack on a few pounds during my trip but I've been working and waiting for it for so long that I"m happy to indulge for a few days :)

Hope everyone is doing good and sorry for vanishing there for a bit - Bad Erin!! ;)

You are probably totally excited! My friend went recently and she talked about in an out burger and I was soo jealous!!!!!!

I want to go to vegas and eat lol I don't really care about the gambling but I feel like the night life seems so fun.
 
Wow I really am the worst!! :( Another two weeks and missing in action - oops! But been super crazy busy getting ready for Vegasss!! and so many changes at work has kept me pretty busy.

So I'm finally leaving tomorrow for my trip :D !! Feeling pretty good about everything - lots of new clothes and fun things so I'm really looking forward to it!

Still sitting at about 164lbs (oops I put 174lbs before) (I usually get stuck around the mid range and then drop down to the lower end of the next range out of nowhere - though I doubt with Vegas that will happen this time haha). Not as much exercise as I'd like lately but still eating well and keeping things in check (so I can really splurge on my holidays and enjoy things that I want - well in moderation)

Yeah I'm not big on gambling either but I like that you can cator the holiday to what you want to do. I like the laying by the pool and drinks part, then a wee bit of shopping, out to dinner or a show then off to dance my buns off! But there's something for everyone, tourist-y type things, tons of shopping, tons of entertainment, it's pretty great!

I'm so glad you worked so hard for your vegas trip!! I know you are going to have a great time walking around in heels because you have the energy to!! I'm excited to hear about all the things that you are willing to divulge ;)

The shows must be spectacular!! I can't imagine the shopping.. I love love shopping!! Have a wonderful time lovely! I hope to hear about your escapades soon :)
