energy peak?

Greetings all,

The past month or so my energy level seems to have hit a peak and then started dropping off. I always switch up my exercise routine every few weeks or so to keep it interesting and challenging. My diet has not changed.

We do have an 8 month old baby that tends to keep us up all night but this is the first time I've noticed a drop in my overall energy levels.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to maintain my normally endless energy supply? Could it be that the baby keeping me up is finally catching up to me?

I cringe at the thought of slowing down like I am.

any input is appreciated

You mention your diet hasn't changed. What is your diet circumference may I ask? How many calories per day, etc. Have you been tracking them?

You mention that your training changes regularly, what is it currently? What are your rest periods? Do you keep training logs?

Best wishes to you for total personal success!

diet is typically some type of fruit for breakfast
salad with all the veggies and a chicken or turkey breast cut up for lunch
dinner is usually something well balanced. Lots of chicken, fish, turkey
once a week red meat or taking the fam out to dinner.

my training is 6 times a week 3 weight days with about 15 mins of cardio at the end
2 days of strictly cardio with a martial arts class on tuesday nights.
I'm not trying to bulk so I don't want to load up on calories. I do take protein shakes after my weight routines.

I don't currently keep track of calories but I do have a log of my work outs.

should I keep track of calories?

My weight routine is 3 different work outs per week of 7-8 exercises each.
I keep my compound exercises the same while I vary my isolation stuff.

I got some sleep last night and feel pretty good today. Baby only woke up twice as opposed to 4 times.

well I'm not sure what I did differently but I've been bouncing off the walls lately. Baby is still waking up 3 times a night. maybe I had some bug or something for a few weeks that made me tire easily.

weird since I've been under an unusual amount of stress lately.
