i forgot where i just read it, but i just learned that slouching is due to weak core strength? is that true? and what exercises should i do to build core/back/neck muscles to prevent slouching and a "shrimp" shaped body?
Do squats. I have read that slouching or a hump back is often caused by a forward tilted pelvis. Work your glutes and abs and this will rectify your pelvic tilt, straightening your spine both bottom and top.
it's from the same author as core training for smart folks too...make sure you read all installments in order...the program is excellent and any postural problems will be helped by doing it...it may take a few reads as it gets pretty technical although i have condensed it down and may post it in the article archive here (i think there's one isn't there??)
