**end of the line**

hey guys, i kinda over ate my calories and didnt go to the gym for like four days in a row, basically recipe for disaster stuff, but i dont think i gained past 158, so here we go, back on the horse... =-)
 
p.s.-I got sick during the break, and im sick now-(one excuse i guess for not goin to the gym...) but will be goin today =-)
 
when I went to the gym and I would miss it was so hard to back again. Just walk through the door and everything will take care of itself....

OMG, this is so true. I'm sitting here now thinking, " I REALLY don't want to go to Curves today, I just wanna go home." :eek:

hey guys, getting more sick, and i jumped on the scale yesterday-it read 159! i'm hoping this is just a fluctuation-maybe water weight?!? anyways, i kinda went a few hundred over my limit yesterday-but i did get the gym in, i hate setbacks, but i am trying to muddle through them with no excuses... i definitely hate it when i'm the one to blame! ARG
 
Keep your head up, I'm sure its related to your illness. You body isn't operating properly right now...give it time to recover.

I was sick a few days ago, and after I got moving again, my weight finally dropped ( a little). I'm sure it's the cold that you have.

Yeah not feeling well makes you want to eat more for some reason. I think your body sometimes thinks food is the answer. But don't give up. 1 lb. is easier to lose than 5 , so no back tracking. You can do it!!:)
 
hey guys, let's just say that my birthday weekend/week wasn't too well thought out...not thought out at all in fact. But I'm back on track today and I'm going to the gym ltr 2nite. I've joined the christmas challenge and I intend to kick major @$$ in it! I really like having a month goal vs only looking at a week because it lets me feel more pressure to do well. I am trying to get in a lot of fluids cause i'm still a bit sick, but that isnt going to stop my healthy eating.

Also, I have just figured out that I am going to go on a houseboating trip with my boyfriend and his fraternity. This means that there will be a ton of other fraternities and sororities there. and yes, you guessed it they will all be in their bathing suits. so i will have to go around in mine-this doesnt happen until spring time but...time is growing short, I need to accomplish my overall goal by spring break or else I'll be that girl who constantly has shorts on during the entire event. more of a reason not to screw up.

Don't fret about that houseboat trip, you're going to be fabulous in your new suit! You're working hard and it will definitely show!
 
alritey, yesterday went well, got about 1200 cals and went to the gym to burn about 460 cals on the elliptical

meal schedule today:

1 engl. muffin= 120
tomato basil bisque soup = 400
jello= 60
____
dinner: soup or tuna sdwch, about 500 cals of either...
after dinner: salad= 100
 
alritey, well i started doing yoga yesterday. i went to the studio and figured out that i was going to be the only student at the 7pm class. the instructor was nice and the room was heated. what i thot would be an hour long class turned out to be an hour and a half. i was shaking within 10 mins. of the workout. i did almost everything the instructor asked-of course i should of expect a hard workout because the name of the class was VIGOROUS FLOW yoga. oops...i got the mental relaxation that i was so eagerly looking for and an intense body workout. so intense that sitting at my desk typing this hurts. The man was so attentive to details that he had me stretch out my fingertips to the point where they are sore too.

i dont know the last time my body felt this type of soreness...it's a bit undescribable, but the best way that I can put it is to say that i can feel almost every muscle in my body when i move and my arms are killing me.

I wanted to go every single day for 15 days straight (thats the intro pkg) but i dont think i could handle an hour and a half of that again today...what do you guys think?

anyways....other things to report from yesterday are:

-engl. muffin 120
-tomato soup 400
-jello 60

wonton soup 240
sweet & sour soup 300
ice cream 200

--and here's my problem, eating those last three at 9pm at night...not good...need to focus the rest of the week at NOT eating that late and NOT eating any more ice cream!
 
If you love icecream just get ff! It's not bad and won't kill your cals!! They say that if you do your workout while you are sore you won't be as bad tomorrow!:D But.....I am sore from the elliptcal thing that I am NOT doing it today, but am waiting till I feel can move my legs with out some major pain! I feel for you that it is all over your body!! LOL:D
 
I'm definitely going to do my regular gym visit today, but i think my body would go "yah right!" if i tried to do the yoga two days in a row... =-)

definitely agree with ya on the ice cream, but my bf brought home a huge bucket of ice cream and put it in the fridge...**insert angry face here** i've been picking away at it every night...bad me...
 
I feel for you! The kids are always having good little snacks that make my mouth water! LOL I have to admit(shame face here) I sometimes cannot resist!:eek:
 
so far today...

1/2 english muffin 65
2 bowls of salad w/ ceaser + bacon bits 250

soup + salad 400

need 2 go 2 the gym, will do after work! overate a bit yesterday so gunna b more careful 2day
