Hello.
thought i would start a log of my progress on here as i feel it may be harder for me to slip up if i know i would havta tell you all the bad news and feel red faced.

my height is 5'4

my current weight is 137
my current measurments are 36/29/36

my goal to reach before xmas is

weight 126
ideally id liek my measurments to be 24/25-26/34-35 but think that may take longer then xmas

have been back on the fitness since monday october the 23rd and am currently doing
4 30min cardio workouts a week (plus lots of brisk walking during day)
3 weight workouts.
1 hour long dance class a week (plus some dance practise at home)

eating wise i am eating about 4-5 smaller meals per day.
im not eating as healthy as i know i could do but i know that if i eat overly healthy then i find it harder to stick to so just easting things in moderation.

dont think i will subject you all (and embaress myself) with a before picture.
but maybe i will do b4 and after pictures when i have the end result.

I PLAN TO WEAR THE TIGHTEST SEXIEST OUTFIT EVER 2 GO 2 NYE PARTY SO I GOT LOTS OF WORK TO DO.

Looks like you have a full workout regimen there - if you're not losing like you'd hoped you might have to adjust your diet. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Your training schedule looks good, granted you are performing thr right movements during your sessions. What does your diet look like exactly?

Diet will be the deciding factor as to whether or not you make progress.
 
ummmmmm feel a little bad today as went to my dance class yesterday and got there 30 mins early ..... as it was so cold i didnt wanna wait outside so went in a bar...... big mistake... there were doing a special offer on gin
couldnt resist
so ended up having a gin n diet tonic.... luckily managed 2 resist the temptation to have a second one

will do extra cardio today i think.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

lol feel better now.. did 45 mins cardio today instead of 30 so i guess that has prob worked off the 55 calories in the gin n tonic.

back on track.

am going to try n resist going on the weighing machine when i go to the shops in a minute.... not sure if i will manage it.

do some research into HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training.

Its no good just running for 45mins instead of 30, chances are you burned the same mount of cals.

You will burn a lot more energy running fast, than running for a long time. So try pushing yourself harder and aim to run for 20mins +warm up and cool down.
 
hmmm i have always thought that if your heartrate gets to high in cardio training that you go past fatburning. which is why i have alwyas trained in moderate intensity.
is this totaly wrong information then?????

right. have just read up on HIIT and will start from 2moro.

decided i will do 2 longer moderate speed cardio workouts a week and 2 HIIT.

thanks for that info..... seems as though i have alot of info to catch up on ;)
 
did my first session of HIIT today.
is it supposed to half kill you.. i felt like i was gonna die????

i couldnt last 20 mins at all.... i lasted for 16 minutes .. had to go to cooldown in the end coz i was on the verge of passing out.

felt shaky and even a little bit sick for a while after.... felt like i had jsut run a 25 mile marathon.

not the most pleasurable form of exercise i have ever done but if its gonna burn fat i will put myself thru it a couple of times a week

here is a 2 day food diary.... yesterday and today....

thurs.
8am - wake up - loads of water
8.30 - oat cereal - low fat milk
9.30 - green tea
12- breaded turkey steak, handful oven chips (fries), corn
1pm - green tea
3pm - banana
5pm - chicken breast, salad, rice cracker
8.30pm- natural yoghurt, small handfull mixed nuts, 6-7 strawberries
all through the day drinking water

friday.
8.30- wake up - water
9am - oatabix - low fat milk
10am - green tea
12.30- small jacket potato,tuna (small amount of reduced calorie mayo),salad
3.30 - banana
5.30 - small portion of spaghetti bolognes made with lean steak mince, vegetables
8.30 - rice cracker with houmous, apple
again lots of water throughout day

yep :D
many think they do HIIT when infact they´re just doing normal intervalls.. you ARE supose to pretty much die and have a taste of blood in your mouth :)
 
thanx leahvictoria. yes really hoping to reach my goal.

i have decided to start doing 4 weights workouts a week (instead of 3) as well as the 4 cardio workouts.

havent had any slip ups with food recently which is good (though i may be naughty this sunday as going to a resturant for my neices birthday).
will havta do some cardio in the morning (dont usualy do any workouts on a sunday)

i have lost half an inch round my waist last week... i know its not alot but every little bit of progress i am gonna celebrate big time (not with food lol) to keep me motivated.

right im off 2 have a very healthy snack :p
 
i am p****d off

i have been eating healthier again and been back on the fitness for over 3 weeks now and today i decided was a good time to weight myself.

now even though i hav e noticed a small change in my body... the scales told me not only have i not lost any weight ..... but i have gained 2 pounds.
which makes me 139. WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I am in a really foul mood now, i have really worked hard with the cardio and weights and have made a drastic change to my diet.

why 2 pounds on and not 2 pounds off ... surely i woulda lost some in jsut over 3 weeks.
