Hey man. Good to see you're making progress. Some advice though.

Try not looking on the scales too much. As soon as you see some loss with what you are doing cut down to stepping on them once/twice a week. Helps keep your head up. So long as you know what you're doing is working, it should benefit you.
 
If you take a look in my journal "offseason begins" I had one of the best workouts today.

Sunday I will update the conclusion of week 3. and then then at the end of week 4 I will post of progress pics.

I can't wait to post them; I know I will be able to see a difference.

Start Weight: 187 Pounds
Current Weight: 185 Pounds
Total Loss so far: -2 Pounds
Waistline Before: 34"
Waistline Now: 32"

Overall Progress

Start Weight: 190
Waistline Before: 36.5"
Total Weight Lost: -5 pounds
Total Waistline Lost: -4.5"

(I measure the waistline below the belly button the widest part I can find)

Woa...the progress just keeps getting better and better. Litterally; nothing is slowing me down. Next Sunday will be end of week 4 and I'll try to get some progress pics up. I'm not even doing cardio; guess my diet has been that damn good.

Currently doing a Upperbody/lowerbody/rest and repeat routine. I only eat low carbs on my rest days. I eat about 2400 calories each day.

I think my weight is alot lower then it says on the scale because sometimes during the week in the morning I weigh like 183-184 I just happen to be a higher weight on Sunday Mornings though.

Tommorow is my week 4 update and concludes one month of cutting. Good thing is I was 185 pounds this morning and today is a no carb day so I'll be ready for tommorows pic at my lowest weight.

End of 1 month of cutting. Lost 7 pounds my first month and 2.5" on my waist. I don't think I gained 2 inches on my waist in one week; I must have measured it different last week or I'm still holding onto water weight.

I'll get pics up sometime this week.

Hey man,

What do you mean by saying "probably 20%fat?". Find a way to measure yourself, there are some really cheap callipers out there that can make all the difference. Don't leave "probably" and "possibly" and "maybe" become part of your training program. This is hard work and must be done as properly as possible. Your football team should have callipers, your school should have callipers, if noone has callipers then you "must" get some callipers.



Do you measure how many calories you burn? What is your deficit, overall?

yeah, there is another thread on it. I stopped cutting for the moment because I am doing smolov Jr. for the bench press. My strength always comes before my look.
