Goal Jeans!

I couldnt get any sleep cos my rythm is so messed up. Sooo I decided to try on my goal jeans.. And I was a bit confused of the photos. 9 Weeks really has done something to my body! It isnt all for nothing like I thought! Hard work is bringing out some results.

Those jeans DIDNT fit me AT ALL two months ago! I couldnt get them any upper than in the photos. In the mid way photos today I couldnt close them and of course they were very very tight. BUT, if 8kg can make such a difference, Im juuuust wondering what 24kg difference would make! At the moment Im 87kg and my goal is to weight 68-70kg. OMG! These photos motivate at least ME to keep on going! Cant give up neverrr! :piggy:

I love those pictures- while the difference is really noticeable anyway, the jeans make it more objective, I think. There's something constant in there and you're judging your progress.

Well done! :D

Thanks girls!! <3<3 Awesome if these silly progress pictures inspires some of you!

I took the before photos like for fun, cos I thought I wouldnt fit in those jeans never.. I thought I wouldnt get them any upper than in the first pic. At least now I HAVE HOPE! :D

I have actually two same sized pants (men's size 32) and those jeans should look like baggy on you.. So I have SOME work to do getting them look baggy on me! :D

I woke up today with a sore throat!! Arghh..

I started my FIGHT AGAINST FLU!! I marched to the shop which sells organic food and super foods. I absolutely adore the shop! (Im interested of eating organic, unrefined food and super foods are very facinating as well!)

How many of you have heard about Super foods? Like those in the picture, tulsi herbal powder and mulberries??? Well if you havent, its definitely your time to check out! :) I use also maca powder and goji berries.

If I would own a business, it would definitely be a shop like that or GYM! :D My dream is to be a spinning and body pump instructor! ;) Also personal trainer studies would be soooo interesting! But my nurse studies are the best though, I love it. But on my free time I could be an instructor! :D

Anyway, I made my power shot! This SHOULD KILL EVERY SINGLE BUG! :D
- A LOT OF BLUEBERRIES
- Tulsi powder about 1 teaspoon
- Juice soup
- Water

And Ive eaten some mulberries..

I ate for breakfast organic coco-choco bar!! Ha! :D It was lovely, omg!

Oh shit, hope you feel better soon. I've got a fever, its not good. This is the ill and injured corner, not only the tall corner :)

I've said it before, and I will say it again.... You look AMAZING! I bet you are so happy with your progress. I love the way you've done those pics. I did before pics similar to that, but with clothes on. I think in my next lot I will put on a bathing suit as its good to see a bit of flesh, you notice the differences in your body more.

What sorts of food will you be eating in the army? Can you make your own dinner if you want to or do you have to get what your given?

Yea my voice is pretty funny at the moment, my bf teased me this evening about it! :D I sound like a man with this sore throat. Argh! :D

Im SO glad Ive 10 days to get back normal before army. And food in the army is very good and healthy. There's options everyone can make... Lots of sallad, some carbohydrates (like potatoes, rice or pasta) and protein (meat, fish or chicken).. Then you can choose rye bread if you want to. In the army you can eat totally normal, healthy food. But eating is very controlled there, we eat 3-4 times in a day.. So there isnt chance to walk to the fridge whenever you feel like it. :D Thats why so many people lose weight in army :D And we exercise like crazy!

And Thanks for the compliments!!! Im a bit confused how much my body has already changed in a such a short time! But Ive been working out like crazy.. So I would be dissapointed if there wouldnt be any results..

And you should definitely use a bathing suit or something in the progress photos, can see change more clearly! :)

You re all so great, and make me smile every day with your kind comments!! So inspiring!!

This morning I felt TERRIBLE. My throat is hurting SO BAD! And Ive this nasty cough... Im thankful that Ive 10 days left to get back on track!

For breakfast I drunk a cup of tea with honey and blueberrie&pineapple smoothie (included also little quark, juice soup and tulsi powder)

For lunch I decided to eat chicken teryaki subway! And I was so hungry that I ate the whole 30cm baguette. Well I have at the moment very bad appetite cos of the flu so Im not going to eat much today anyway...

I got a bit excited about doing these progress photos! :D Well Ive been bored today, cant work out cos fo this flu and all.. So I took some pics! :blush5:

Oh Im still feeling pretty bad.. I had a bit fever yesterday as well. I guess it wasnt such a great idea go to the body pump two days ago when I had sore throat.

The scale showed the lowest reading so far: 86kg! 9kg LOST! WTF :D Is this real!

Monday is officially my weighting day though.. So we will see how much I will manage to lose on this week, cos I cant exercise I must eat less. :(

WOAH!!!!!! That puts us at about the same weight! I think I'm losing a LOT slower than you though... you'll overtake me in about... ha, maybe three days? :)

CONGRATS!

Oh, we seem to be in a same weight almost! But it may be that I wont lose more on this week. One kilo loss is very good also in a week. :) And if I lose another kilo on next week I have lost total 10kg then, and its my first "goal" in this journey.. To lose 10kg before army. And then Ive done it.. Lost 10kg in 10 weeks. It would be great to continue this journey from there! :)

Well done! 10kgs in 10 weeks is pretty bloody impressive!

Glad your going to get fed well in the army, I had an image in my head that you were gonna get served "prison dinner" sort of food! Don't know where that came from. Are there going to be many women there? Is your bf paranoid about all the men? I know mine would be!

Hahaha!! We're not like in the prison in the army! :D Of course we have strict rules what to follow, but the circumstances are great for soldiers in Finland. :) We're fed well absolutely and taken care of other ways as well.. There's clothes we get, doesnt need to even wash them ourselves..! And we have own health care in the army. :) Also theres some other benefits like getting new eyeglasses for free (army will pay!) and also women can get birthcontrol pills for free for whole serving time. Not bad. Also tickets to home will be paid.

In Finland there is two times in a year when you can step into military service, in januray and in july. Now there will be 10-15 women starting the service. But hundreds of men.. So women are definitely minority!!!
My boyfriend isnt worried, cos Ive told him there is no need to be.. :D And he trusts on me, so.. And Im not going to army cos of men :D I bet the guys will be like brothers to me, I dont want to think them in A THAT WAY! lol.

Theres some pics about dinner time in army! Food is in lines and first you take a server, then plate, food, drinks and so on.. Walk to the table you wanna sit and thats it! :D There is also a pic about finnish women soldiers! Thats the uniform I will be wearing! ;)

I find it SO interesting that this is a motivation for you, and that you are excited about it! I just want to sit down with you over a cup of tea and chat about it for hours. It is voluntary, right? But... isn't there some kind of conscription in Finland? I think my Finnish friend told me about it... seeing as you are surrounded by some of the big world powers (though... Sweden not so much anymore, haha). Here in Switzerland, they have military service that is compulsory, but it is through a ballot, so if your birthday gets called out, you have to go. People really don't mind though, and the weird thing to me is that pretty much every household has a bunch of guns in it, waiting for the big loudspeakers throughout the city to announce that there is an attack. Then the whole country will come together to defend. It's a really strange mentality for me, as I am from australia, and it is completely different there!

Sorry... rant over!

Hmm,. Maybe some day we can sit down and chat about this more spesific!

Military service in Finland is voluntary FOR WOMEN. For men in the other hand it is compulsory. Every young man over 18 will be ordered to do their military service for 6-12 months depending the training. I am aiming for 12 months because I want the leader training, so I would come back to reserve as a corporal or a sergeant which both are group leaders. I think I will be specializing on medical first aid training, or thats what they told me in the selection tests, cos I am nurse student in civil at the moment.

Ive been interested about military service since I was a little kid! :) My dad inspired me to go to the army, since it became aloud for women 1996. After high school I was thinking about police school as well, and you get points from army to apply for the police school. Of course Im ready to defend my home country as well, and I honor the veterans who have made sure for my generation, that we can live such a wonderful life in Finland at the moment. :)

Some picture of my parent's house and yard, nice sunshine 9pm!! The last pic is from Aavasaksa hill, which is facing our house. Also the food I ate today, pretty traditional finnish summer food: new potatoes from own garden, ground beefs, tomatoes, halloum cheese and butter with onions which we call "potatoe sauce"! (You're supposed to dip those potatoes is the sauce!) DELICIOUS! :p
