Ed's Diary

Hello Curvie.

And goodbye lol I have to leave in a few minutes. Some coworkers are taking me out to lunch for my last day. Then I have to go have a TB test. Fun fun.

Hey Ed, I just wrote about penises in my diary and for some reason I thought, "Where's Ed?" Hmmm, I bet you're tired from a weird sleep schedule. Are you able to do any workouts with your new job? Your wife and kids adjusting OK? Anything exciting happen????

I is here. Been hard to post as much since I am not sitting at the pc 8hrs a day. I have a pc at the station though and a lot of down time so I will get back on track.

As far as WO's go I have gotten a bit lazy. I have time because I am just on 24 off 48. I have to get a better schedule going becaus I can't really do anything on the 24 on. I got a little more motivated today though. We had to do a "stand-by" at a local track while the forestry service did a physical. Those guys were pathetic. They had to go 2.5 miles in 45 minutes with a weight vest. I don't know how much weight. They were just brisk walking and 1 guy still didnt make it. A young guy who looked no older than 25 just had like 40 seconds left and a guy had to come pace him the last few laps.

I will try to read through and get caught up on some diaries tonight.

So you were pretty much the most fit, there?

I dunno. I will reserve judgement since I don't know how much weight was in the vests but yeah. I coulda smoked em. And you could probably have smoked us all.

As for the BS. I just did a fly through of your diary so :p

Oh and BTW. No TB. And I took a reperatory test also. Lungs are "great". Had to shave my beard though.

Resperator, right? I had to do that at my last job. Part of the reason I left. Well, a small part. This job it's optional, so I opt not. :biggrinjester: Trying to grow it long again.

Wrong. I do not call you by your name. That does not mean that I do not know your name. I usually don't call people by their names unless it is included in their screen name. Like "Steve". BUt if you would like, I can call you by your name, Lisa ;):reddevil:

Whew, just got back from a run.
Run music: YouTube - Metallica - That Was Just Your Life Studio Version

It was nice to run in the daylight lol. It was really nice out to, 70 and sunny. Ran into a head wind up the hill on the way back, actually made my lungs a little sore.

I was going through my jean drawer in preparation for the fall and ran across some old pants and thought I would play dress up.

Beautiful!!!! I'm currently fighting the desire for cookies n' cream ice cream, thanks to Casey.

Lisa is a cool name, my aunt's name actually. You can call me Bunny if you like :D

Oh--nice pictures, though small, it makes me want to hang out in the country and shoot my rifles and drink beer. Hmmmmm......maybe I'll go to the range Sunday with Chris (outdoor range in the SC Mountains)

Hmmm. They are small. WTF. I always screw it up.

That sounds so self-defeating! Sigh....resizing pictures actually took me a while to figure out (factoring in megapixel setting on camera, width/height/res setting on PS, and the little Min/Max dial at the end when you save it, granted you have the PC version of PSCSII).

Damn. Facelift by Alice in Chains was a bad ass album. I just DL'd it the other day and had forgot how fuckawsome it is.

What a waste. I hate talented stupid people. Dirt use to be my favorite album, I can't listen to it much any more because those lyrics were cool when I was an 18 yr old pot head but now after he died they are just sad.

Facelift isnt quite as drug influenced, maybe at that point was still enjoying them and not just a junkie.

In his last interview, which took place in early 2002, Staley spoke of the damage caused by his heroin addiction: "I'm not using drugs to get high like many people think. I know I made a big mistake when I started using this shit. It's a very difficult thing to explain. My liver is not functioning, and I'm throwing up all the time and shitting my pants. The pain is more than you can handle. It's the worst pain in the world. Dope sick hurts the entire body."

Staley's physical appearance had become even worse than before: he had lost several teeth, his skin was sickly pale and he was severely gaunt

"When police kicked in the door to Layne Staley's University District apartment on April 20, there, on a couch, lit by a flickering TV, next to several spray-paint cans on the floor, not far from a small stash of cocaine, near two crack pipes on the coffee table, reposed the remains of the rock musician." The article also stated that the 6'1" Staley weighed 86 pounds when his body was discovered.[20] The autopsy report later concluded that Staley died after injecting a mixture of heroin and cocaine known as a "speedball".

Ewwww, gross!

Semi-synthetic opioids are very difficult to shake off, especially in a rock n' roll lifestyle. There are a lot of homies we could pour out some of our forties for.
