^ That's exactly what the druggie kids at your school said. Take a good look of them--strung out all the time, dead looking. I'm sure they didn't think that one snort of coke was going to make them an addict.

I was just thinking, that if you skipped those, with the high calories, you could have a BIG meal and fill up instead.Just trying to help!

EasyE, everyone here has their own way of doing it - some people count calories to an advanced level of mathematics, some people head for the gym and lift weights, others walk and walk, I get pulled around Thetford Forest by a squirrel crazed husky! But most people here would agree that throwing up is a big no no - and that starvation dieting is a slippery road to bad health.
Think about the long term - and you should have plenty more of that than me. You don't want to trap yourself into yo-yo dieting or eating disorders. Nine months of dieting? Heck, thats short term! Don't think of it as dieting and a temporary state of denial - think of it as taking control of how you live. You can enjoy foods - good foods, you just have to learn how to find them and appreciate them. By the way, weetabix with semi skimmed milk - thats a good breakfast and well done on the weight loss, you are doing fine!
However you choose to do it, I wish you the best of luck - you have the potential to be the person that you want to be![]()
What is so wrong with just learning to eat controlled, normal portions and lose weight sensibly? Not only will you be healthier, you will learn to regulate your food portions along the way and you will be better equipped at maintaining your weight loss once you get there.

Ask yourself this...
Do you want to stay lean once you lose the weight?
People who crash diet are more likely to gain the weight they lost back - PLUS some.
Ever see what happens after someone starves? They binge.
