Dylan's Diary

Good for you! About to break into the 330s, keep it up.
I'm excited!

Did't update this Friday because my results this week were the same as the last. Still at 340 didnt lose any, been kind of getting off track working 2 jobs just been eating without thinking and its so busy I get 4-5 hours of sleep. Working 2 jobs to have money so I can have funds down in Texas while im job searching while attending college.

Hey Dylan, how goes it?

I was talking with a friend of mine from Texas last week, he told me that it can be hard on a woman to be married to a Texan. I asked why and he told me that it hurts their social life. He said that when women get together one of their favorite subjects is complaining about the husbands or boy friends, but being a Texan his wife has nothing to say. A joke, but a true story, I did ask a Texan about his wife last week, and this is what he told me.

There are more Texan jokes than any other state I know of. I'll pass along some of the milder ones when I think of them.

Hello everyone. Sorry I went ghost for a little while I've been so busy. Bad news, I've gained weight. Pretty good amount actually, probably due to stress, and not caring about what I'm eating as I've been working like a mad man. I can honestly sit here and make excuses all day, but I'm trying my best to turn things around so I don't gain all my weight that I've lost previously when I was active on my diary. It's good to be back in action, and I'm looking forward to getting active again on here.

It's been a rough patch in my life right now, and I'm trying my very best to keep moving forward.

Hi, Dylan. You can do this mate. If you can turn things around and go back to eating healthy when you are stressed it will be a way forward. I'm sure you can xo

Hi Dylan, Glad to see you back. I was lurking but never posted on your diary. I don't think anyway. Anyway, good for you to get back to it. Not sure how old you are but from your profile picture maybe you're in your late 20s/early 30s? Stress will always be there. In general, it gets worse with age. Hopefully it calms down for you or you can control it better than I was able to. I didn't get a handle on it until now at 40. Partly I didn't realize everything that was in my power to change until I got older. I was doing what I thought was right but it was according to other people. I think I shouldn't have been influenced by others so easily and gone after what I wanted more directly. Anyway, I look forward to following along as you get back to it.

Thank you cate.

Welcome back!

Sorry to hear that, but it sounds like you are back to lose it. In the end you'll just see this as a blip.

Did you get moved to Texas?
Not yet. House is still up for sale and we are waiting on a buyer for the house. It's a bad time at the moment because I've recently met this girl. Yeah, I know, probably the worst time of all times right before you move to find someone you like. I guess that adds more to the stress.

Good to see you back, Dylan! Bad luck about the weight gain, but good that you're getting right back onto it!
Yeah, been very off track lately and the weight gain has been slowly creeping up on me. I don't want to gain everything I lost, but for the most part I've gained a lot back. Hopefully I can learn from this knowing getting off track a little bit can really dig a grave of all the things you worked for very quickly.

Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it. Yeah, I turn 21 this coming December so I'm fairly young and I understand the 20s can be one of the toughest ages of life, and I'm definitely starting to realize it quickly. Just been dealing with anxiety, panic attacks, brain fog, depression and just a lot of things at the moment. I technically work 3 jobs right now until I move to Texas go back into college. I've also met a lady here but moving really changes everything and it's just been a lot going on. I can literally write hours and hours about what I'm going through into specific detail, but I think I'd rather save my fingers from typing it out so much and just try to get through this crazy stressful time. Thank you for your interest in my diary, I've had a lot of ups and downs, but hey, no one said this road was ever going to be easy. "I've failed over and over and over again in my life. Glad to see you're back.
Thank you LaMaria

No "just" about any of that. Any one of those things on their own could throw a person off track. Be kind to yourself (and healthy food can be an important part of that but sometimes it´s really hard to do in practice).

Great quote, words to remember!

You do have a lot of obstacles right now, but seem to have a plan to overcome most, good for you. The new girl will be tough, I hope that one works itself out. The house selling and buying thing can be hard, it took us a couple of years to get all that worked out before we were able to move from Florida to Utah, hopefully it won't take you that long.

Keep on posting, no matter what's happening with you I think you'll find it therapeutic. And we like to hear from you!
