Wasn't sure where to post this...but hopefully someone out there can help me here...
I'm a drummer in a band...and with practice and playing shows...I'm probably on the drums about four times a week...and for those who don't play...when you're playing live...you're giving it all...it can be painful the next day...
now...my problem is that I've been trying to put weight training into my schedule...but I'm finding that while I can fit it into my schedule...the drumming keeps destroying any progress I'm making with the weights...I'm 6ft 165pounds right now...and I'm trying to put on some more muscle to avoid getting any skinnier...and to improve drumming...but like I said...my intense/cardio/drum sessions keep taking it all out of me...
what can I do to incorporate both drumming and weight lifting to increase my size?...
I hope this makes sense...
any other drummers have the same problem?...
