Drinking too much Water...

Is it okay to drink large amount of water at once? like 2 pints, or is that not good for stomach? like get your stomach bigger as it puts alot of pressure on your stomach?
 
I've filled my stomach a lot for extended periods, I haven't noticed any problems with it getting bigger.

AFAIK you can only absorb 1/4 litre every 15 minutes, so there's not really any point to it, except that maybe it's convenient.
 
they say you should drink half your weight in oz example: im 180 so 90 ozs a day

but that's a guideline for 'normal' people to stay hydrated, right? not athletes that sweat a gallon a day, or construction working laying interstate in the summer heat.

Normally, you stop before you drink too much water to where you risk being killed.

If you force yourself to drink a lot of water at once, you can risk being water poisoned. Best rule to follow is: drink as much water as you want, but don't force yourself once you drink enough. And if you got to go to the bathroom, go. Don't try to hold it in for extended period.

If you are running or doing a sport event, be sure to drink something like Gatorade during the middle of it. Although water is good, I think drinking Gatorade will be better.

Also, if you are in a contest of somekind where you are forced to drink excessive amount of water, don't. It's not going to be so funny when you die.
