I don't understand why you all are so nervous of posting your gorgous weightloss pictures...you all look absoutly amazing!!! Now if I could just find someone with a scanner I would put up all of my pictures, I am absoulty proud of the weight I have lost since my high school graduation. I put on a sweatshirt I wore back then and now it is like a dress on me! Once again don't be scared... No one here will ever make "fat jokes" or anything about your apperance! After all, we are all bigger, or atleast at one point were bigger, that is why we are all here....for support...and trust me these guys and gals here deffiently give it :D

lol, so far i've only seen nice people around....

but then again, i would love to hear some "fat jokes" towards me... that's just one more factor to keep motivated and continue working on my weight loss journey ;)

I was very very close to posting a picture of myself but got SOSO nervous I just panicked. So I decided that I'm not ready yet, and when I reach my first goal I'll post some pics. But yeah, good thread. I know a lot of people are probably nervous and they shouldn't be.

Well I wouldn't. lol. I've heard enough fat jokes to last me a lifetime.

^^Hahah, likewise.
I was going to post my before pics too, but I chickened out :p
I decided that as soon as I see a little change, I'm going to post my pics... and no chickening out this time.

For me it's not so much about others seeing my before but it's so hard for me to look at that before. Admitting I let myself go that far is really hard to do but I know admitting it is part of the way to fix it.

This forum seems absolutely wonderful... everyone is so supportive and I'm thankful I found it. :)

I'll probably have the courage to post mine in the summer of 2007, when I reach my goal before I enlist. edit: the most i have posted so far is my tiny avatar picture, luckily it cuts off that keg I carry with me.

I took "before" pictures of myself a month ago, but theres no real "after" to show just yet!

Hi Guys! I just wanted to come by and say that I totally relate to being afraid to post the pictures and kudos to Ashley for addressing it!!!

When I first thought about posting some pics, it took me 4 weeks into the diet then 3 days to scan the pic, the one of me at my very biggest. Then I wrote and erased the thread thing 3 or 4 times. When I finally hit the post button, I was shaking and on the verge of tears... I had to walk away from the computer so I wouldn't delete it.

(My thread is here btw: http://weight-loss.fitness.com/before-after-between/6006-cant-believe-im-posting-these.html)

I wasn't so much scared of others reactions...

Actually I don't know what I was so scared of. Probably the fact that if I showed everyone how big I was then I would really be commited to this journey. 340lb!! I cringe just thinking about it!!!

But I'm so glad that I posted them. The encouragment I recieved and contiue to recieve is priceless. I go read the thread when I'm feeling really down. It reminds me, no turning back!! My first goal weight is 260lb but I am sooo looking forward to adding my very final goal picture at about 170lb.

Good Luck everyone. Post in your own time but know we are here for you when you're ready. ;):D

Pequin, thanks. I definitely feel better about posting pictures now. Although, I'm still going to wait until I have lost some more weight.

guys/ladies
don't be afraid to post your pictures. If someone does have something bad to say they normally aren't around very long. There is a good group of people here.
