Dominique's Journey :)

It sent but i couldnt finish lol. I cant wait to be in the 160's im pretty subre through most of high school (9-11) i was between (150-170 ibs) so it will be great to get back down to that

Breakfast: 2 eggs and fruit
Lunch: left over philly cheese steak which was barely anything left, i gave a piece to my dad, and 2 onion rings lol, along with the rest of the fruit from breakfast
Dinner : (We went out ) We went to wingstop
Snacks: A coconut milk macchiato from starbucks only about 180 calories but still too much sugar

Every friday we eat out, but i need to learn to find somewhere healthier or to just make myself something at home. Tommorow were going back to san fransisco so i know that'll be a mess but im hoping to take home something from one of their healthy or maybe a vegan cafe.

Congratulations on another pound lost! (And that´s stretching the definition of "cheese" to the breaking point ;) )

Good job on the loss!

Also, lately I have been eating out at places where I can't eat most of the menu. So, I have been looking through at what they offer to see what ingredients the kitchen has, and then just ordering what I want even if it's not on the menu. Maybe that will help on Fridays!

i really like that idea, i do that at work quite often. I will definitely try that if a restaurant has no healthy options

Bad news for me, our oven stopped working on sunday right when my mom was going to cook, the inspection guy said itll be a week. :( luckily my grandpa lives right around the corner and let my mom cook on his stove today

Breakfast: I really wanted a breakfast burrito from work but it literally has almost 1200 calories so i made my own with 4 ingridients (I used eggs, grilled onions, jalapenos, and 2 bacon strips) and also half a banana and half an apple. I would narrow that to about 300-500 calories

Lunch: i got a side salad with low fat balsamic

Dinner: Homemade jambalaya with rice

Snack: a slice of cheesecake :(

Last week i brought home coupons of our new brewhouse burger which is huge and now since our oven is out my dad is saying nonstep about how we will use them up (i brought home a big stack i think imade a big mistake lol) I really wanted to try it before its gone buti think ill just get a salad instead, whenever we go sometime this week

...or you could share a portion with your mom? Good quality burgers aren´t bad food, it´s just that portion sizes are out of control.

True! im willing to try a lettuce wrap burger or portioning it out and only eating half

Breakfast: A nature valley pretzel bar and orange juice- 260calories
Lunch:aside salad with grilled chicken balsamic, and 3 jalapenos - 432 calories
Dinner: We had made our own sandwhiches also w chips- im estimating 800 calories but its probably less
Snacks:I had honey bunches of oats cereal (i need to make a deal with myself that if i eat cereal it has to be for breakfast)
Workout: I was in a hurry and was able to burn off 413, all together i ate approx 1732 calories

I took cate's advice :) and i bought a container of greek yogurt,so what i will do is start bringing this as my food for my lunch break at work along with almonds and eventually this will be breakfast on school days!

I really enjoyed the greekyogurt and i definitely know ill be eating it more often

Breakfast: Greek yogurt mixed with a bit of honey, blueberries, strawberries, and the tiniest amount of bananas
Lunch: 2 chicken strips -280 calories
Dinner:I went to chipotle and got my usual burrito bowl - which came to 995 calories (terrible ik)
Snacks-2 strawberries, 1/4 banana and a couple
I was in a hurry again and burned off 401 calories (it seems like workouts are getting harder lol)

It sounds like you are doing really well on eating fruits, vegetables, and exercising :) I can't wait to hear about your next recipe!

Sounds like you are doing good. Just a suggestion, have you ever tried agave nectar? It tastes similar to honey but is healthier. It has a low glycemic index. Maybe you are not using enough honey for it to make much of a difference though, I don't know how much you use. Just thought I'd mention it.
