Does face shape change with weight loss?

Does anyone here feel like they have a fat face? I really don't like my face shape. It motivates me to lose weight! It's more important to me than my body haha. My family have quite oval faces and then I happened. I have a very broad jaw. They make jokes here and there and I really don't like my face shape. Anyone else feel like they have a "fat" face? How long does it take to come off the face?

Personally I think that losing weight can greatly change your face. I'm not sure it will change the shape entirely but I have seen people lose weight and they often can look like a whole new person in the face. Recently my mom lost about 25 pounds and her face just looks more "her," if that makes sense. It looks like bloated and more refined, like her body I guess! I, too am looking forward to my face changing as a lose weight!

I would use the jokes your family makes as motivation to keep up with your plan. One should always want to be healthier for oneself, but it can really help to keep on track if you have the "well I'll show them!" attitude once in a while.

Your face will definitely look more refined as you lose weight & you will lose fat off your face as you do everywhere else, including wrists, fingers & toes. No-one should make fun of your looks & just because they're family does not give them rights to do so. Try to be happy with your body sweets & your differences. Being healthy is much more important than anything else. Cheers, Cate.
