Do you have "goal pants"

My next goal is to get into my size 32's comfortably... It's been my goal now for probably 6 months... I can get into most of them but it ain't real pretty, lol... I just need to really get on board and it will happen. I'm probably only 15 or so lbs away... I have some smaller shirts in my closet too but I don't know if they are ever going to fit right... I have a pretty long torso and sometimes they just don't make shirts long enough....

I have a two year old pair of jeans that are my "almost there" pants, a size bigger than what my ideal goal pants would be but I can't wait to slip them on.

Yep! i do this too. I'm in a comfy 14 and I have the 12's I wore when I met my hubby(Guess sure cut them small 10 plus years ago:eek:) and I'm keeping them just to say I got back into them before I head on to my final goals beyond that! I also have a pair of size 10's I bought recently.

FWIW, 3 of the pants I wear now were once goal pants 4 months ago when I bought them! I don't usually track by scale so I do it by size instead. I weight when I fit into the next size COMFORTABLY ie every 14 I try fits good, not just one bigger cut size(so maybe once a month or 6 weeks sometimes). I just find it easier for me that way since I'll get obsessed with the scale. Anyway, my point is it's such a cool day when you fit into the 'goal pants'! I totally get it! It's the same feeling as reaching a milestone on the scale!:hurray::hurray:

I would love to be a comfortable size 8 (US4). They currently fit me in the leg but the waist and hips is the problem...

that's how it works for me too, especially since having kids.

I was going to embarass myself too and say that I probably try on my goal pants about as often as other folks who are losing weight weigh in. *blush*

I have a whole box of "goal pants" tucked away as well as just old jeans I can no longer fit into and some cute shorts and skirts, some rangle only 5-10 lbs away while the others are 10-25 pounds away...tags still on and everything...But hopefully someday I will get to them again!

I definitely also have a goal pair of jeans... I am a 14 in most brands but dream about being a single digit size. I just can't wait until I can shop for clothes more easily in any store...

I have a few different goal skirts...

Ones a size 14 and its white. Im a 16 now.

I have an very short orange size 9 in Jrs I want to fit in(I dunno If I will wear it in public lol but I want to wear it.

and the one I will wear again is a jean mini skirt size 7. Its adorable and I remember I used to think I looked like a cow in it. I can't wait to wear it again. I held it up to my size 18-20 jeans a few months ago and couldnt believe how much bigger my jeans were.

A friend of mine gave me a few pairs of 36 pants and jeans a little while ago... I decided to take them even though they didn't fit, so that when I reach that milestone I would have an automatic mini wardrobe expansion :) (for no money, yay!)

Anyway, I'm a 38- 39 now... soon, soon, soon!!!! :drool5:

My goal pants are leather pants I bought about 5 years ago. Very sexy and I almost fit into them (not comfortably though).

Goal pants??? I have a whole goal wardrobe! :smilielol5:

I hear that! Of course its my goal to eventually get a new wardrobe to go with the slimmer figure.

I just bought a pair of goal pants today...

a pair of Levi's 501s already perfectly broken in. No real wear, except at the hems... just perfectly soft & faded. At the moment just a wee bit too tight to be comfortable. I'm hoping to get in to these by the beginning of September at the earliest, or by my birthday mid-October at the latest. If I get in to these comfortably I will be down to what I was at in high school & early college years.

Well, I don't exatly own a pair of goal pants, but I try on various sizes whenever I happen to be near a clothing store. For example, I tryed on a pair of 44's (brazilian size) today and they fit just right! And I also have and old pair of US 10's that I can get into, but not comfortably. I'd love to fit into these nicely sometime soon!!

My goal is to be able to steal my 20 year old daughter's clothes. :) We are both losing weight and I can already fit into her 'fat' clothes but I want to be able to fit into her clothes when she is down to goal weight.

You're not weird, I have an entire "goal wardrobe". All the stuff I wore when I was in shape. All the stuff I picked out with pride after having lost 30 pounds. I look at that stuff that I used to think was so big and think, "Wow, I was small then..." I ruined it and now my goal is to lose twice the weight. Way to go huh? =/

i actually have 2 goal shirts.
I've had them since i was 17 (3 years) and I just can't get rid of them.
They are a medium in juniors.

ANd I love them. But when i gained a ton of weight I just haven't been able to wear them anymore :(.

I hope your daughter is ok with it. back when I was 150 lbs my mom was 250lbs and she use to wear my clothes and stretch them out. SO I was left with stretched out clothes.

But my mom is probably different than you lol. She thinks the smaller the pants the skinnier she is and if the pants can fit on her (even if their skin tight) then she has to go down a size til it hurts. She is now 220 lbs and wears a size 10 or 11 in juniors. ( trust me they look nasty on her)

I have a pair of low-rise, tiny size 9 Guess jeans I wore when my fiance and I first started dating 5 years ago. They are cut slim, and I looked amazing in them... Those are in a box of skinny clothes in our spare bedroom. I should pull them out so I can attempt to pull them on each week.

I also have a Burberry dress in my closet with the tags still attached... I got it off the sale rack during Nordstrom's anniversary sale last year. I couldn't pass up a $400 dress for only $200- HALF OFF! It's a size 10, and Burberry tends to run true-to-size. So I'll be pretty dang happy when I can get that on!

I have an orange skirt and a halter top dress that I've kept. I've already have gotten back in my old pants from 9th grade..my goal is to get into the skirt and dress from my jr year in highschool( i lost a lot of weight then). The skirt is a 7 I believe. I felt fat then..funny how that works...Now would I wear those clothes in public prob not. Both of them were from the jrs section from 6-7 years ago..I feel old..

LOL, no I can't stand wearing tight clothes, it's far to uncomfortable. My daughter wants to lose more weight but I would love to be the size she is now so will make do with some of the clothes that will soon be too big for her. :)
