Do these exercise work for the buttocks?

Alright, not that it is for me...but I was wondering..

Does the standing leg curls, and some other exercise where you sit the the machine, right up, and push your legs up against weight (damnit, sorry -_-), do these work the buttocks muscles, and mainly, to reduce fat from it.

If not, can someone recommend some exercises?
 
deadlift will work the buttocks like nothing else. don't be sold by high rep exercises for the butt, like the one where u lay on ur back and arch upwards and clench ur cheecks together. you want to deadlift, have someone teach you proper deadlift technique and you won't need to wear a belt anymore cuz ull have a nice shelf on ur backside.

They gym they work out at must be messy as hell...needless to say, though, I wish I worked out there.
