do i need trainer to get the body i like

Some of you might be like me who has in mind a celebrity with a great physique when working out. Me, I totally look up to Jessica Biel. Her arms are terrific and her tummy is absolutely flat. I love looking up photos of her in the internet that show off her curves and muscles. Her shape really inspires me.

Would I need a personal trainer to attain her body or should I just settle with losing weight and becoming a slimmer version of me without a trainer? I kinda doubt I'd be anywhere close to looking like that if I don't have someone to tell me what muscle groups to work and how to do so...

I'm a Personal trainer and I also have a specialization area I'm working on and to achieve the results you want I would at least schedule 2 sessions a month to be in check and keep a record of your results. Trainers (some of them) also have very good expertise in areas. Not all though, some know ALOT more or ALOT less than others. My advice would be get one with 2 or more certifications...or ask me for free. lol I'll try and help you as much as I can.

Your on the right lines with regards to looking at areas you want to improve.

However be careful when your targeting specific people especially celebrities as it is very very very very hard to look like someone.

Start drawing a plan of body parts you would like to improve, e.g more toned upper arms etc.

The more info you have the easier it will be for your trainer.

However make your goals realistic!!!!!!!

It's great to see stars in good shape and not just sickly thin, but you should look to see what the best YOU can be and focus on that. Be inspired but your biggest inspiration should come from within....

my best advice...concentrate on being healthy inside and out. Oh, and turn the TV off! We are all individual and should srtide to be in the best possible health first!

First, you don't need a personal trainer; lots of folks figure it out for themselves and do great. That said, a PT can quicken the learning curve dramatically, reduce the risk of injuries along the way, and keep you motivated, if that is an issue.

But, as others have said, for your own mental well-being, you should not feel that you have to look like anyone else. A reasonable and very rewarding goal is to be the best you can be.

I think a trainer gives you the way and you follow in that way to get desired result. If you don't have any trainer then you will take more then time to get your desired thing and this may be you not get desired result.

Thanks for all your comments and suggestions, guys. I do want specific improvements to my body like I want the flabs off my back, I want slimmer thighs and to make my butt firm. I know I'll never copy the body of someone else but it keeps me motivated.

Thanks again!

I hear ya, but think of your over all body. We can't pick and choose from what parts we want to drop fat (unless you are taking lipo or the like) but we can workout our entire body and sculpt it so it looks the best we can get it. Chances are you can lose the weight, but you need to look at your whole body and not just the parts. Then you'll see what a smashing body you can make it and have made it, when all is said and done!

ITs all about work out man, keep working out, join a gym maybe they have personal trainers there and they will help you out.
