well so far i have had 365 calories today and i am about to go eat another 250, then for lunch i will have 400 from a footlong veggie delight at subway :D

Does any one know roughly how many calories it takes to MAINTAIN 540 pounds? and i walk quite abit during the day too just at my Job

ok i am assuming no :D

well i have lost a total of four pounds this week, man the weight sure isnt falling off like it was with just 1000 calories a day

i had only 2035 calories yesterday and burned roughly 600 on the treadmill wich puts me at 1435 calories yesterday, i feel good but i am not seeing the results i want to, i mean only a few pounds at a time is crazy when i am used to seeing 15 or 20 a week fall off, this is difficult beacause i am busting my ass on the treadmill and not seeing big numbers on the scale

Maybe it did, but it didn't stick, did it?

If you use the generic formula of 14 cal/lb, that would be 7500 cal/day to maintain - but that is assuming a high activity level.

hey so i am really excited to report that last night i went to a birthday party at Chilis and when it came time to order my food, i chose carefuly, i was going to order the cob salad but decided to ask for their calorie book, yes they had one, and the salads ranged from 990 calories to 1090 calories lol so i decided to get baked fish and 3 cups steamed veggies wich were only 250 calories lol.... IT WAS SO WORTH IT! then they busted out the cookie cake....and although i wanted some guess what? here i am today and that sweet taste would have left my mouth with in 5 seconds, and i decided not to eat any.... AGAIN, SO WORTH IT! hellz yeah i am doing it this time, i feel very good and very motivated, i cant wait to see what i weigh tomorrow at the gym!

I have been able to keep my coloric intake below 2500 a day and i am loving it, i am satisfied and not starving and i am slowly but SURELY losing weight

well i didnt make it to the gym yesterday, but the wife and i went walking to the local grocery store to do our shopping, then we walked back with the groceries, it took us a little over 30 minutes :D so that was good and i have kept my calories around 2500 a day, which is honestly a ton of food, its crazy to think i was eating 7000-10000 a day....when you eat clean healthy food the 2500 really is alot........any who i will find out what i weigh today when we get to the gym

Well, I DID IT :D my goal for this month is 25 pounds and i am half way there, this past week at keeping my calories between 2000-2500 i lost 12 pounds.... i am so excited and very very motivated....i lost my drive as you guys know, and i found it again :D

slowly but surely still on track...yesterday i was off (which can be dangerous because i am at home all day) and i ate more than i should have, but still didnt super exceed my calorie count, i will be in the gym this afternoon and pump out some cardio

i lost another 3 pounds this past week :D im doing good, REAL GOOD, now here comes the test this week, thanksgiving

Good luck with your weight loss!

You've made great progress so far! Many fitness trainers nowadays are not in favor of cardio exercise due to loss of muscle tissue induced by it.

However, I do strongly suggest that you do Yoga breathing exercises. There are seven to eight breathing exercises which help you burn fat, restore your blood pH, balance your hormones, get rid of constipation and slowly bring about cleansing and toning of the liver and colon. All these factors are truly important for weight loss (fat loss). Your general well being and motivation will also be greatly enhanced.

Anyone can do these exercises irrespective of age, sex, physical condition since they are all natural and easy to perform.
