dips

I kind of suck at dips. I can only do like 3 (I can do more than 10 pullups, but yeah I know, thats a whole different thing). At my gym there is no assisted dip machines; so what other things could help me improve my dips?
 
Just keep working at em. But since they work the tris/chest I would think those movements would help.

You could aslo do dips on a bench or chair to help you progress.
 
Start by doing them on a bench (feet touching the ground and hands on the bench), or between two benches (with your legs on one bench and your hands on the other).

Once you get better at those, you should be able to move up to regular dips.

If not, ask someone to put some weight on you while you do the bench dips.
