Digital calipers...?

How accurate are they..??
I got my AccuFitness FatTrack II this morining and done a measure a couple of times and got some pretty suprising results. I never measured my BF before since I don't think there is a place I can do it professionaly where i live.. I used the caliper according to the manual (pinching at 3 places, is that even enough?) and got the results varying from 8,5-11% ... I would say thats pretty low, since I expected it to be at least 14-15%...?

You cant do it yourself. You have to get someone else to do it.

You must be standing up straight, but also quite relaxed.

If you tense slightly, bend your back, or move an arm you will get an inacurate answer.

You should do a 7 or 9 point test, 3 is not enough.

In the UK only qualified personal trainers are allowed to use calipers you have to know what your doing or you'll be way out.

Also if you get someone to do it, make sure its the same person that does it all the time as your %age will change depending on how hard someone presses.
Make sure you only do it 1st thing in the morning to.
