Different Workout Strategies

So Ive been doing 3 FBW a week and taking creatine and whey protein and I am starting to run. The reason I started working out is because one of my friends recently started, and he started about a month ago. He goes to a different school but he came back recently and WOW. In one month he must have added 50 pounds of muscle. Completely ripped, huuuggee muscles, like John Cena type muscle(search him.) I told him my workout strategy because thats what I heard on this website, and he told me its garbage. He says he weightlift 2 times a day, and every other day he does 2 hours of cardio. I was shocked, he also told me he has been taking some stuff like creatine. Is there any actual benefit to working out only 3 times a week? or is what he does also good? I mean, some of the photo progress ive seen on here for like a 1 year period, doesnt even come close to what he did.

50lbs of muscle?? In 1 month?????????????????????????????????????????????

Id need 100% accurate evidence to believe that :)

But if he did get so big after one month, it gotta be some form of enhancment, THG or some form of steroid. But then again, one month isnt enough time!

Hmmmm, maybe he injects water into his muscles to make them swell up? :D

But lifting twice a week also, i wouldnt say thats enough...especially to see results like you mention in a month. You sure its the same person? :p

you can weight train two times a day, but it is a technique for the more advanced. 50 lbs of muscle in one month? I call bull**** on that one, at least before I see some hard evidence.
Weight training 2 times a day doesn't really say much, do you know what his program looks like?

he has jugs of stuff, drinks, mixes, pills, serums, all taken everyday....ill get some before and after pictures

probably called steroids:confused:
and fifty pounds in a month is physicaly impossible, thats more than one pound of muscle a day.
maybe 5lbs of muscle 45lbs of water and fat:rolleyes:

yeah, no kidding....

That's completely absurd. There is NO WAY anyone can gain more than a pound of muscle in a day! Pluez! 45lbs of water? try 45lbs of fat.....lol

good lord.....

Yeah, even on the 'roids this is categorically impossible... unless he's got some sort of elephantitis of every muscle in his body. :jump1:

any changes that come with your body should be slow whether its losing weight or gaining muscle mass. For example if I went on a 1000 cal diet I would lose about 10lbs real quick but it wouldnt be good for my body and it would be probably almost all muscle because of anterior pituitary starvation reflexes. There are some people that are just more prone to gain muscle quicker than others but gaining it fast isnt always a good thing think of the strain that your heart would experience. Long term results are what matters not short term.

I think the Op was exaggerating with his claim of 50lbs, more like 10-15lbs which can still make quite a visual difference.

i think if you reread my post you will see i am saying that there is no chance of gaining 50lbs in a month:rolleyes:
