Dieting in Quarantine

Yesterday
Weight: 9 stone 7lbs
Food: good, if a little bland as we've run out of batch cooked meals. We had a gas leak a little while ago which we think came from the hob. Our gas engineer advised us to switch to electric, so we have an induction hob on its way. Fingers crossed it works so we can start batch cooking again!
Alcohol: a small glass of red wine and a gin and tonic
Exercise: 4 hours of jet-washing.
Mood: very tired and my back hurts, but happy that I managed to get the jet-washing done and read through some of my revision notes. After having my second drink I decided to enquire into having a massage and facial at a local beautician before I go back to work. Normally I regret tipsy shopping, but I'm actually looking forward to a bit of a pamper.

Yesterday
Weight: 9 stone 6.5lbs
Food: delicious and nutritious. I made a turkey burger for lunch and had steak with potato and veggies for tea.
Alcohol: 1.5 pints of beer, 2 glasses of wine and 1 gin and tonic. I reaaaalllly didn't need that last drink. I was actually dropped my phone (which is the size of brick) while I was holding my gin glass so it smashed :confused:
Exercise: none apart from general cleaning, gardening and nipping to the shops
Mood: okayish. I was shattered yesterday despite having a good night's sleep so I ended up falling asleep on the sofa for over an hour at 5pm. It messed up my body clock as I had hoped to have an early night.

Today's weight is 9 stone 3.5lbs, but I am taking that with a pinch of salt after booze and feeling unwell after dinner. I am going to catch up with one of my friends who is cooking a vegetarian dinner, so am looking forward to that :)
 
Quick entry - the weekend was lovely :)

Today:
Weight: 9 stone 5.5lbs
Food: I cooked our first meal on the new hob and it was a success! Pretty yummy and nutritious all round.
Alcohol: none
Exercise: a nice walk
Mood: okay. Without going into loads of detail, going to the dentist was a fail today. My teeth are fine, but could not be cleaned because of Covid so feels like I wasted my afternoon!
 
That's too bad about not being able to get a cleaning in at the dentist, but at least they're in good shape and don't need a bunch of work or something...

Ahhh why do I keep disappearing?? Actually I do know why - I decided to have a "fuck it" week because it was my last week of not working. It was fun but enough is enough!

Anyway, today was my first day at work and it went really well :) the people are really friendly and it seems quite a laidback atmosphere.

Weight: scales have run out of batteries! I suspect we don't have any spare ones but will need to look into it
Food: good, if a little lacking in protein
Alcohol: none
Mood: great :D after all that worrying about adjusting to having 5 months off, I woke up before my alarm went off and I was chatty and alert for the whole day. It was like I never left!
