I actually need support!

Sometime ago I was part of this forum, but I have been so busy I just stopped writing. My "diet" on the other hand has continues, not as I wished, but I lost 8 kilos from the really beginning. It may be not that much, but it's a start. And anyway I wasn't following a real diet, I simply approached a much healthier lifestyle. I didn't deprive myself of sweets or "junk food", but I consumed in much more moderation and balance.

Anyway, after losing those my weight lost just stopped. So now I am starting again, very seriously this time, but I need your support!! I know with all of you I can make it!


I'll try to keep track of what I eat every day and exercise I do! :)

Day 1 (thu 13.3) - 62.0


Food:

I ate a banana as breakfast.

For lunch I had spinach soup and an egg with salad and an apple.

An other banana as a sneak.

For dinner some pasta salad and yogurt.

At 9:00 I was hungry again and took an orange.


Drinks:

All day long I drunk a lot of green tea and water.


Exercises:

I had 2 long walks with my dog.

Talking about inspiration, don't you find the "Fitness" section of Pinterest (among all sites) rediculously inspiring? I mean, when I have been feeling a bit demotivated or down and I happened to browse those pictures, they cheer me up. Hell, I am going to do it!!!

Day 2 (We 14.3) - 61.5



Food:

I ate a banana as breakfast. No tea because I woke up late and had no time even to boil water.

At lunch I ate at school. I had rise with meat (about 30% of the plate) plus boiled broccoli and carrots, salads and cucumber (the rest 70% of the plate). I also had a little portion of chocolate mousse. I have decided not to deprive myself. If at school we have dessert (most of the time they give fruit anyway), for dinner I am going to consume only salad or something lighter.

An orange as snack!

For dinner I had a great chicken salad. Full with cucumber, bell pepper, far free cheese cubes, and a tiny bit of dressing.

I also took a square of chocolate. Yeah, today I have been pretty bad already.



Drinks:

many cups of green tea, 1 glass of milk and lot of water.



Exercises:

about 30 min walk, not much!

I got a little confused now.You have already lost 8 kgs and put it back on?so you want to loose it.?Or you have lost it and kept it off>\>if so what is your target weight and what do you weigh now>?how tall are you?
 
AI love, love, love the fitness section on Pinterest too! I've been using it for motivation lately, especially on the nights that I want to consume the entire contents of my kitchen lol!

A Pinterest is a drug in general, but the section about fitness is amazingly inspiring. I use to give a look at it at morning to cheer up the day, be motivated and focused!! It helps also when I am home and I am tempted to sneak something unhealthy. Jasper, be ready to become totally addicted then :p Pinterest is PURE inspiration and not only about fitness, but also clothes for example (clothes I'd love to wear once I am back in shape), or home decore, puppies and so on. :D I have "wasted" tens of hours just browsing pics. I am 1.64 cm long and I weight 61.5 (this morning). I reached my highest weight about 1 year ago when I was 70 kilos. It was the first time in my life I saw a number starting with 7 on the scale and got scared!!! So I decided to lose weight!!! I have lost so far 8.5 kilos without any serious diet or exercise, just checking what I ate. My final goal is between 50 and 55. I would like to reach 55 for summer, from there I'll see what to do. If I want to lose the last 5 or what. :)
 
ADay 3 (Tor 15.3) - 61.1

Today is such a beautiful day. The sun is shining and I feel motivated to do many things. I am going to browse Pinterest a bit, then down to work! :)

I go so exited about start running that I looked immediatly for a easy program to follow. is what I am intended to follow. It seems not too hard and doable. I am starting tomorrow. Now I am off for an half hour walk!
 
ACouch to 5k is great!! I always recommend it, it's how I finally managed to get into running. There's a great app for it, too, if you've got an iPhone.
 
Today is going to be a busy busy day!! The day is going to start with walking the dog and then to the health center (need some vaccine since I am travelling next week). After that will need to wait a bit in town, do some shopping and probably I will stop by the "salad place". It's a great healty fast food restorant, it works as subway, you can pick exactly all the ingreedient you will have and what side you want it. I have been there only once, but it's a place I love! Plus you get a cup of tea for free. My boyfriend has a coopon for a free salad at his name, I am not sure if I can try. :) What you gonna love more than a huge salad with tea for free?? Then I am going to a reunion, we have some work to do with the class.

After that I will come back home and have the running section!!!!! I am so excited. There is still snow outside and I am thinking what kind of hat I need to use since it's a bit windy. I don't have any kind of hat meant for running, but I'll probably steal one from my boyfriend :p


In the evening my friend invited me for a movie in town. I am going to take a bag of mini carrots with me to kill the temptetion of buying chips. Chips are my nightmare. I just always ALWAYS crave for them and once I start I simply have no controll!

That's my plan so far! :D

Day 4 (Fri 15.3) - 60.6

Food:
As breakfast baby tomatos with fat free cheese and tea.

I had Lunch just after a couple of hours after breakfast, but it was the only time I had free... so to avoid starving (we had a 2 hours reunion scheduled after the break) I went to eat earlier. I took a small salad at the place I told you about. I had green salad with tuna, olives, water melon (I love it!!) and baby carrots. On the side I also had a backed potato. There was possibilities also to take chips but I refused!! YEAH for me!!!! :D On the salad I had a light dressing, on the potatoes there was possibility of having some kind of butter. Noone on the list seemed very healthy... I took the last on the list. It sounded Japanese and tought it could be something like tariyaki souce. It was not. Was something pretty buttery and I didn't enjoy it much, so I took most of it away. Next time I will ask for something less buttery or without fat in it. I also had tea there.

After the reunion I went around for the city for about one hour. Home I had a orange as sneak and a cup of tea.

At the theather I had baby carrots and an hand full of popcorn!


Drinks:
Many cups of tea, not so much water.

I just bought the baby carrot, later I am going to wash them and put them in a plastic bag (the one used to freeze food). Yummy yummy! My healthy sneak for the movie night! SO EXCITED!!!

I know so far all the weight I have lost is just water and it's really really too sun to talk about results. But I already feel lighter...and better! :)
 
A Day 5 (Sat 17.3) 60.7 Food: Orange and tea. Sneak - one orange and more tea!!
Pasta with a bit of pesto (not even as close as I usually put... I love pesto), red bell pepper and champinion.
One chocolate bad and one muffin
Drink:
Lots of water, 2 cups of tea and one glass of milk
Exercise: Today is such a bad weather that I am thinking of going out with the dog only for quick walks. I am going to clean the house instead! Dance game.
 
Yesterday my friend introduced me to the "dance game". It was one of those where you need to press the correct arrows at the right timing with feet on the mat. I LOVED IT!!! I love as you can actually "exercise" at home playing. I am planning to buy one mat on my own and play it at home when I am too tired or lazy for real exercise. Not quite the same as going running, but still you need to move your body and if you choose the right songs you have to jump quite a lot. The fun is the music. I love music and this is a brilliant alternative to Zumba. Not need even to leave the house.

Does any of you know any other fun videogame where you need to use your body and possibly there is music in it??! I found it inspiring because it's not normal exercise, you get points on what you do and can become better and better. This is the reason why I LOVED this game, but I would hate a video of zumba, for example.


Day 6 (Sun 18.3) - 60.8


Food

Breakfast tea with orange ( am I mono-thematic in mornings? :p)

Lunch was rich. I had 2 fried egg (my boyfriend was cooking, so he used also the yolks), bell pepper, baby shrimps, cucumber. On the cucumber there was a little of dressing.

As sneak I had pancakes (actually they were french crepes), topped with a tiny bit of sugar. It's a bit an house "tradition" to make some sweet delicacy on the weekend. My boyfriend and I LOVE to cook together. I know I already had muffins and chocolate yesterday, but I will find a way to keep this habit of cooking/baking together in an healthy way. I have found many "sweet" recipes sugar free or "healthier". This means I will experiment a LOT! :) I am also excited to find an healthier way to cook sweets and delicacies as well. I know it would be better if I would avoid them completely, but I also know myself. I know if I will deprive myself totally I will last few weeks (lets say even more than a month) and I will end up having a bellyful of junk. At the end yesterday I only had 2.

I tried to compensate the pancakes having only baby carrots (quite a lot anyway, so I didn't feel hungry) for dinner.


Drink

Lots of water!


Exercise

No one, just walk with the dog.
 
Well, even if yesterday I had pancakes the weight has gone down a tiny bit still. That's good, even if I know this doesn't mean I lost fat weight. Probably it's still the water you lose at the beginning of diet. This morning I admit I was a bit scared and was a bit reluctant to weight myself. It's one week I am tracking what I eat and I was afraid I got back everything I lost during the week because yesterday and the day before yesterday I had sweets. Well, this time it went well, but I need to find a way to stick with the diet (or healthy eating) even in weekends, when I see friends and cook with my boyfriend. Well, have to figure something out.


Anyway, I start to be afraid of being intolerant to lactose. Why? Every time I have milk (or every kind of milk product) I tend to feel my stomach full as a balloon. Literally! I also asked to my doctor what I should do about it and she said I could start trying the lactose free products and see if I still have the problem. If it stays then we will have to do some tests. Uhmm, I guess I will have to try! I cannot feel as a pregnant women all the time because I like milk :p Has anyone in here the same kind of problem??


Day 7 (Mon 19.3) - 60.5


Food

As Breakfast I had a cup of espresso with one spoon of sugar. I am not a bit fan of coffee, but today I need to be awake and active to do everything before I leave (I am going to holiday for one week, have to organize my studies and work... and also what to bring with me since I will have with me only one little hand bag). Not using the milk (we don't have lactose free one home), putting sugar in it was the only way I was able to drink it.

Week 1 - 1.5 kg lost
 
I hate myself in this moment. Because of pizza yesterday, today I gained 1 kilo. 1 kilo of that 1.5 I lost in one week.

Uff!!!!
 
There are days when I stray from my eating plan as well, it's just humanly IMPOSSIBLE not to. During those days, my consultant has advised me to up my water intake by 1 more liter. Just put it behind you and get back on track :):)
 
Wild at heart - thank you very much for your advice!! I will do it for sure, drinking more water when you crave for something unhealthy makes sense and easy! :)


I had one week holiday and that is why I did not update here. There I basically only ate ananas and eggs.

This is why today I had breakfast with milk and bread and nutella. But I will compensate during the day! I don't want to still lose time anymore. I want to lose the weight I planned and be finally happy with myself. :)


Day 1 (fri 1.4.) -> I will start counting from the beginning again.


Had 1 glass of milk an d 3 breads with nutella.

Salad

Bread with white eggs and grapes.
 
Day 2 (sat. 2.4)


Tea.

Sandwich with salty meat and cheese.

I organized a dinner at my place, I made bruschetta, salad lasagna, crepes with icecream.

I ate a bit of everything with not exceeding.
 
Day 3 (sunday 3.4)


Probably I was not used to have a whole meal after the trip, in fact I am having a stomac ache. I trough up in the morning, so I decided not to eat anything for breakfast but one slice of toasted bread (nothing on the top). It's a trick my grandmother taught me when you through up to dry your stomach.

Now I will wait and have a rich salad when hungry to compensate the great meal I had yesterday.
 
Day 4 (4.4) - 62


Today we are definitely back on truck!

Today I have in plan to start running. I will fallow the program I have found and I hope I will not freeze. Doing it as I come back from work today.


An other thing I want to start doing is taking care of myself in general. Take care of my skin, hair and so on. Of course I already do, but sometimes it feels like a job. I want it to be part of my routine! :) I want to be the person I always wanted to be and never fully was.


Food:

grapes

green salad, cucumber, grapes, tuna in curry sauce.

spaghetti "carbonara" with pork meat.


Drink:

These days I am so busy it's really hard to keep track and write down everything I eat and the exercise I do. This doesn't mean I am not sticking with the plan.

Yesterday I went again to run. My boyfriend and dog came too. It was fun!! Even if I was very broken at the end... was definitely worth it.

On the nutrition side, I have decided to cut also the carbs as much as possible. This doesn't mean not having any carb at all, but reducing it.In stead of bread, pasta, rise and potatoes I would prefer when possible a slice of rye bread.


Day 11 (11.4) - 61


Salmon soup with baked apple as dessert and salad of course

Tuna in italian sauce with green salad and not even 10 gr of cheese (didn't have the diet salad cheese). As dessert an apple and a orange.
