Diary Times. Eeek.

Well, here we are. Ive finally decided to take myself in hand and do something about my weight. Mainly to feel better about myself. I think that joining this form will help me greatly, just having somewhere to put my experiences, thoughts and temptations. Ahhhh yes..

here we go then...

Day One: today. I went to work this morning missing breakfast (bad start to the day!) came home had a bowl of pasta and loads of veg. I finished the tiniest little bit of ben and jerry's off because the diet starts today. haha. and this evening ive had some mature cheddar and digestive biscuits and am about to eat a plum.

I havent read anyone elses diaries yet. im probably about to find out that this isnt what people do on here. i do hope not.

Im feeling really positive about this weight loss. :)
 
I forgot to mention my current weight and targets.

I currently weight 12 st 11lbs. so thats roughly around 180? im not good with conversions.

My aim is to be two stone lighter around 10 stone 11, maybe even 10 stone.
However it is more dress sizes that i am more concerned with. I am currently a UK14/16 bottom and UK12/14 top i would like to be a UK12 bottom and UK10 top. so... those are my aims and ill keep you all updated.


eeesh, this is quite exciting actually. its nice having somewhere to write these things rather than just being on my own.

Random randommm

I'm sick of people saying nobody's perfect and average is good. That's a load of crap. I don't want to be like everyone else-I don't do second best. If I want it to be perfect, I wont rest until it is. I wont-NO-I cant be happy until it is. If I cant change I cant let myself be happy. I'm so sick of people acting like it cant be done. Fuck that. If I don't change soon I'm going to have a mental break down-I wont look like this-This is NOT beauty-Its pure Ugliness-I am ugly-I wont rest until a am beautiful again because I am NOT pretty until I think I am. Everything I'm not will soon be dealt with reasonably. Ill lose this god damn weight if its the last fucking thing I do.

Okay my rant is over....

Welcome to the forum. There's heaps of great information in the stickies. I recommend reading the nutrition ones to get an idea of how many cals you want to aim for etc.

Lots of people here use calorie couting websites (like fitday or dailyplate), I find food tracking (writing down what I eat) to be really important. As soon as I stop recording I stop losing weight.

Its also great to read the diaries and get motivation and ideas.

Welcome to the forum , this is definitely a big help with losing weight. Its nice to know other people are in the same boat and is great motivation!
