more questions!
Thanks for the reply - that's put my mind at rest somewhat!
I'm not too worried about how rough I'll feel after the procedure because it'll only be temporary (something tells me I might want to retract that statement in the three weeks time!). What I'm really worried about is what I'm going to eat! I feel as if I've spent so many years either on a diet or on a binge - think I've completely forgotten how to eat normally! Do you think that going on a programme like lighterlife (complete meal replacement with soups and shakes) would be a good idea for the 1st few months?
Thanks again for the advice!

....I lost track of how many pints I had...on the positive side, I was shaking my booty on the dance floor...like a demented gorilla

...it's just a change in your lifestyle, you will put on weight....I have this week....0.5kg...but I know it will come off again once the hangover clears...if we continue to eat like we do during these holidays then we will be back to the good old days...but remember weight is not the be all and end all....it's how you feel and what hubby and friends say to you!!....

Actually pleased with some of my eating habits, on the good side did not touch a single sweet from the buckets of 'quality street' and 'roses'....this is a first...used to belt feed them until only the hard ones were left...on the dark side, did eat too many nuts...favourite being hazel nuts....in fact it is a god send having my sister here, as she cooks delicious stuff and only gives me small servings...which are probably normal servings compared to what mummykins used to shovel on my plate...and I would eat it!
Plan on booking myself in this great hotel in Edinburgh towards the end of March...again on the bike
Fear not my dear, I'll pop down and assist you in releasing the warm weather and drag it screaming back to Bolton
