Hey, I know 100% how you feel. Took me a long time to overcome that reluctance to approach - and the general feeling of intimidation. A lot of "didn't wants" - as in I didn't want some random guy to think I was flirting, didn't want to look like an idiot, didn't want to be on the receiving end of stupid advice (ok, that's inevitable
with guys in the weight room). On the positive side, if you show up day after day just doing your thing (just like a guy
) after a while most of them stop eyeing you like either an alien invader or a piece of candy, and you start to get a sense of who's cool and who's not. Then it gets to be really more fun because you've got another little pool of people to bounce training ideas and tips around with.
