Diary of Azarius

I've been stuck with a curvy, female looking body for years now. I tried to get rid of the fat in many ways. When I was 14, I managed to lose 10 pounds by cutting out the chocolate and white bread, pasta, and all the junk food I ate. I did not even exercise - I was a computer addict and nearly never left the house. Simply by changing my diet have I lost this weight. But now, even though I eat more healthy than ever, as I am vegetarian and I have pretty much completely left behind chips, pizza, chocolate, etc. it seems I cannot lose anything.

Perhaps my body adjusted to my new diet and I must now find a way to make the right change. If I could shed off the pounds on my lower body I would be happy. It's only 10 pounds, but it's all in the wrong place and it must go!

I decided to try and exercise more, which seems to be the only thing left for me to do since my diet is already good. I have started a food diary to keep track of what I eat during the day. Judging by this, it seems I never eat more than 1600 calories a day, which is great, as my maintenance hovers around that number. But I'm still stuck at 125; I don't know why. Do I need to burn more calories, eat less, or both? I'm doing some experimentation in the hope to find out.

I'll do at least 4 sets of 10 push ups a day and try to use my bike as much as possible, though with autumn comes rain, so that may be an option I'll have to leave behind.

I must find a way. 10 pounds in 2 months, is that reasonable? I hope so, because that's my goal, but right now it seems nothing works; I'll keep experimenting.

I got my Halloween costume and a really nice new coat for winter. I'm happy about that.I also got a new haircut.. but unfortunately, my face does not make it look good. It's too chubby. Much too chubby! Whenever I look at myself in the mirror or a glassy surface, I immediately turn back because I look so ugly. All this fat hanging off my face.. no, I really can't stand it anymore! I want to lose it! But I don't know how! I'm always hungry. I just ate 2-3 hours ago, too. I try to exercise, but I don't know when, how often, with what. I really can't do this alone, but I don't want to be chubby forever. I just need help..

See the beauty in you

Hi LA:). No matter if we fight 10 pounds (like you do) or 100 pounds (like me)
we must remember to see the beauty in us. If we see that... other people will too. Happy to hear you got a good winter coat.

Aww, thank you. I have actually seen people with extra pounds who look really good. It's simply not my case. My features aren't made to accomodate extra weight.

So far, I've been trying to do more resistance/weight lifting, but all I have for that is a single 5 lb weight. It's too light for me, and I can't afford more weights. I'm counting on push-ups and squats at the moment, with some cardio such as jogging/biking. Let's hope I get results in the next week, if only one pound.

I do have to tell you that a man can carry more weight if it´s muscle than women. You can look great on 135 pounds if those 10 extra pounds become muscle instead of fat. I know a man who is 5.9 and weighs 190 pounds. He is in excellent shape and do not have too much fat. (He has been weight training for years).

I hope you see the videos I posted in your thread "About what to change".:)

Have a nice day!
