Diary of a Pudgy Peanut

Yay Cassie! Today is the day! We are completely on track. Yippee! It's so easy knowing that you are there with me. Actually, i was good yesterday even with exercise although it wasn't a formal visit to the gym. I'm impressed with the 2 miles! Good job.

And we'll do great tomorrow too!

As for the knitting, I used to have knitting night at my house and taught several of my friends to knit. And my motto with them was based on a line from Finding Nemo and we would say "Just keep knitting, just keep knitting". And that's what you have to do. And one day it will just fall into place and you'll be clicking those needles like a pro....hmmmmmm, sounds a lot like that whole weight loss game, huh?

You did so well yesterday, let's keep that momentum up! I feel pretty good about yesterday too, I think we're getting it! Make sure you repeat it today, I promise you won't die, but I might have to borrow your inhaler myself! I thought I grew out of the asthma when I was a kid, but I sure didn't feel like that last night! I'm gonna be SOOOOO good today, you just watch. Let's both make sure we get our exercise done today, OK? I'm still working on your favorite nuthead to get her to do her abs tape. Let's both bug her. I know she can do it, she just needs a push (and I know you're gonna see this HH, so c'mon I'm recruiting reinforcements here). ;)
 
Hey there!! Are you sore from the run? I still don't know how you fit it all in - and now to find out that you knit, too? Did you find the secret to cramming in extra hours in the day??? Keep it up! You're doing great!!

MP!! I GOT IT IN AGAIN PLUS SOME!!! :D Add 25 (each) lunges and squats while cleaning the coolers at work - I figured I'd give more than my arms a workout. Take a peeky at my post in my Peanuts diary today :D LOL

Laurel, believe it or not, I wasn't sore from yesterday. I went on another 2 mile run and got in lunges and squats at work :D The only secret I have to finding extra time is multitasking :eek: I do as much at a time as my brain and hands can deal with as fast as I can. While at work, I plan my evening to make every moment count. As soon as I get home i know what I'm doing and in what order (may the good Lord help anybody in my way b/c I just plow through it! LOL). I literally hopped out of my car, ran in to change and ran out the door. When I got back I took of my MP3 and water bottle and started dinner.... thank goodness it has to cook for a while b/c I need a rest! :eek: While resting, I run the washer (can't do anything else while its running). Kinda boring but thats my only secret.

as for food today....

Protein smoothie 530 am (at work) (6)

930 small apple, cheese stick, a bit of tuna-veggie salad (8)

1130 rest of my tuna salad (Counted above) & a cheese stick (3)

Water so far: 2 liters :D

PLANNED dinner: stuffed grape leaves, greek anitpasta salad w/ a TINY bit of tofu :D mmmmmmm! Not sure yet if I can have any (have to calculate the points in it) but I know I can have it for lunch tomorrow if not tonight :D

Oh your dinner sounds heavenly!! Yum! I hear you on multitasking and programming your day. I just want to sit and do nothing sometimes, you know? I'm big on lists. There's something comforting about checking things off a list, you know? Still - you sure seem like you can cram a lot in a day!

Scarlett & Laurel, it WAS awesome! I really like Dolmathes (greeks stuffed grape leaves) but my father and the kids can't chew the leaves too easily so I had to modify the recipe a little and got this rice pilaf - ABSOLUTELY YUMMY! I also needed a veggie to go with it and the salad mix was the best quick, heat-free bet :D


Laurel, I REALLY like to do nothing somedays but I just don't have the time unless its a Saturday w/o the kids - then there's neighbor-man to take care of anyway :eek: It seems like I get a lot done, but my day starts around 4 am lately :rolleyes: ONE day of nothing I dont' mind - two sends me into the asylum! LOL

well, dinner went as planned (thank goodness!) and I am STUFFED STILL and I ate almost 2 hours ago! :D The down side: the rice (since I dont' usually eat carbs at night) has me wide awake and I NEED to go to bed soon since 4 am comes quickly!

What a virtuous little peanut you are! Great job, I'm really proud of you. Squats & lunges while cleaning at work. You're a creative peanut too! Aww, I feel like giving you a gold star. :D Have a wonderful Friday, I'll miss you tomorrow. I'm off to check out your peanut twin's diary to see what morsels you've left in there, then I'm outta here! Keep up the good work!

Nuthead!! I'm right here! Don't go! Come back! ;) Missed you too Nutty Buddy! I get up at 4 and leave, after packing lunches, coffee, etc, at 5 and don't get home (usually) until 4-5 pm depending on the day :eek: Today, I got home at 3ish, went for a run/walk (2 miles), then sucked in an apple and some turkey to get my blood sugar back up to "normal" :D *sigh* Thats only SO FAR - I have half a day left :D I am NOT commenting on the "house of domination" since I will only get myself (my husbands fool) into deep doo doo! LMAO! (Are my weaknesses SO obvious;) )hehehehe BTW, Dolmathes (greek stuffed grape leaves) are "pickled" grape leaves stuffed with a mix of (the light version anyway) ground turkey, brown rice, walnuts, and seasonings cooked in lemon juice and chicken broth - HEAVEN IN A WRAPPER (well, the easiest version is heaven on a fork)!!!

MP, I got in another 2 miles but had to walk about 1 1/4 miles :eek: My knee is KILLING me but I refused to let it stop me! Scraped, swept and mopped ANOTHER floor free of chocolate! Yup, another sweat 'em up day! hehehe

C, I WAS busy! LOL If I sit still I tend to feel like I've wasted too much time :eek: Dinner was awesome and leftovers were even more so! :D Brought 'em for lunch and theres still some left for breakfast tomorrow - hey, who said breakfast can't be Dolmathe rice!?! LMAO!
