Diary of a naughty girl

Ok so I tried the bath powder last night and it was very good! I don't know if it will help you lose weight though, lol. The one I tried yesterday had a really nice bright orange color and it did leave my skin feeling nice. I don't know how it works but my body did feel warmer than usual after the bath which was kind of cool. It was definitely a fun thing to try and good for the price.



Today for breakfast I had this veggie juice, aloe yogurt, a banana and this tea from Weleda which is supposed to be good for your skin. Weleda is really popular here now and another product I'm trying but I'll get to that another time. For lunch I bough this raw tuna with slimy potato for 50% off at the market yesterday so I will eat it with rice and some kiwi. For dinner I don't know yet but it will have rice, miso soup, and a side dish depending on what's looks good at the market maybe fish tonight? I want to make asari rice which has tiny clam shells but I have to translate the recipe first so it will have to be later this week.

So one more thing I wanted to talk about in the diary today is something that has really helped me this time. In the past when I've done diet and work out I take it too far and cut too many calories and have been really desperate to see a change and would weigh myself all day. I cut out my favorite things with no replacement and was always thinking about sweets and what I could not eat. This time though it's very different and I think I understand why.

The thing that's different is that I've found a suitable replacement for the sweets and that is taking care of myself! I go out and still look at the beautiful sweets but if I'm going to buy something why not buy something that will help me of pamper me? So I go to Lush and buy a face pack and massage oil bar or go to Charis and buy aroma therapy skin care. My husband gives me massage to feel better after a workout or I buy fun things for the bath. Yesterday I bought these really cute cactuses which don't help with weight loss or beauty but they make me happy when I see them. So the key for me now is just replacing one thing for another. I will still eat sweets but not everyday anymore and have been using the money for beauty and life enjoyment instead.:beating:

I weighed myself this morning at 63.1 kilos! Let's see if we can make it to 62.9 by friday. Tomorrow is a holiday and then another week of holiday!:party: I don't know if we will go somewhere yet but we'll see. :)
 
Today was a naughty day! We went to a and I ate not a huge amount but had a glass of champagne and sweets (adorable mini macarons with fruit on top were one of these!) without a clue as to how many calories might be involved. I'm not concerned though because I think a random day is good to shake things up and I'll exercise tonight which should help! I guess the effects will be know on friday!:p

Hot Pepper Bath Powder, so if you were to touch the water and than your eye...would that be bad? I do stupid blonde things daily, as in last week, I read somewhere's to add some Tea Tree Oil (a couple drops) to my bath water. Haha I shook a quarter of the bottle out into the hot water, and about a few mins into my bath, I was bubbling...you know hot oil, DUUUUH.

What's Slimy Potato? How'd that turn out? Just eat it like that?

The oil thing sounds like something I would do lol. Thanks for the warning! I think it's probably not a good idea to get in in your eye even if it wasn't hot pepper! I found out the name of the slimy potato. It's called nagaimo and you put it in vinegar water and after that just grate it and you don't need to cook it or anything.


So I had a naughty dinner last night and the weirdest thing happened. I weighed myself this morning just for the hell of it and was down to 62.6 kilos. Very weird but I will take it! Right now I am really into Lupicia tea! It's not really diet as in it's not going to help you lose weight but I figure that if I'm drinking yummy tea then I'm not drinking sodas, juices, etc. Last night I found out the Lupicia next to where we live has two exclusive teas for our area called Jewel Box and Tox Box. (tea picture) We tried it at the store and bought both of them! I also like Royal Copenhagen tea but Lupicia is my favorite for now!
 
Ok so it's Friday and I weighed in at 62.1 kilos!!! So close to 61! So close to almost not being in the overweight category! I'm a little freaked out though because it's almost too easy... Any day now I feel like the weightloss will just stop and I know it will be like when I'm .1 kilo from the healthy weight target, lol. Golden week is starting but they have already caught two people with the pig flu so I'm thinking maybe it's not such a good idea to go traveling somewhere after all...Then in one week I have a mothers group meeting at DisneySea and I'm wondering if anyone will notice I'm a little slimmer. Wish me luck in getting under 60 kilos this week!:beating:
 
Hello tropicalgirl, congrats on the drops in weight. It's always very exciting to it when it happens, especially when you're not expecting it. All that hard work really does pay off!

Oh the horror! I was watching this television program about these women that lost all this weight. Then I thought that I had not weighed myself in a while... and it was 67 kilos! :piggy:

So right there I stopped. Stopped drinking the soda I was drinking and dumped it and started with the green tea. Of course it has been the holidays and it is getting colder so we have been eating out, going to parties, drinking matcha lattes on cold nights and not surprisingly it added up to this. But this is good because it won't continue and I caught it before spring rolled around and I wouldn't have a coat to hide behind.

So here's the plan!
1) No starbucks or Tulleys!
2) Stop stuffing my face with chocolate and stop with the cola!
3) Do the shape boxing again because it worked and it's fun.
4) Write down what I eat.

So it's embarrassing but here I am again. Wish me luck.:cry:
 
Things are good. My body is in pain from the shape boxing haha.

This is what I ate yesterday
Mikan (clementine/satsuma orange) 4 of them
Pasta with mentaiko sauce
1 peach yogurt
Miso soup with pork base and daikon and satoimo
1/4 cup of rice and half of a pumpkin croquet

Today I was thinking mikan for breakfast
For lunch three bean rice and with that beansprouts with a little mayonaise and pepper
Natto for a snack
Then for dinner it's the seventh so we are supposed to eat this 7 herb soupy rice today which is healthy yay! and miso soup with daikon and tofu
 
Good morning!
Add to yesterdays menu a peach yogurt and a Bickle yogurt type drink.
I ran out of mikan haha. So today I'm having Aloe yogurt and maple oatmeal for breakfast. Today I'm going to a friends house so instead of taking the bus I will do a 40~50 minute walk! My body is still major sore from the shape boxing but I'm feeling good!
 
I lost half a kilo this week which I'm pretty happy about considering I was not eating that well during the 3 day weekend. This week I will try to get back on a schedual because I know I can definately make it a full kilo. It's cold outside which make me want to drink hot drinks and yummy foood so I just have to make sure to eat healthy yummy foods and that those hot drinks are not lattes haha! It is very rainy and cold outside today so we are stuck indoors so I work on my diet and schedual for the week.
