Diary of a naughty girl

Ok! I have started to not just get with the program in regards to losing my weight but to organize in general. Yes, I've started eating healthier and cooking again which is a big help but I'm also doing mad cleaning and organizing. They say that an unorganized house is a sign of an unorganized mind and it's true so it's all part of refocusing in general for me.

Let's start with breakfast. I've actually started eating breakfast again because I would always skip it and then start snacking later in the day. So lately it's been fruit and yogurt, today was a banana with strawberry yogurt, and green tea.

For lunch I made rice and a soup I made wit potato, carrots, cabbage, and a little ground chicken seasoned with a little salt and soup powder(ajinomoto). I haven't been drinking soda's or coffee lately and have just stuck with tea and water.

For dinner I'm making light nikujaga which has sliced beef, potato, carrots, onion, mushrooms and is seasoned with a little sugar, soy sauce, mirin and is boiled and served with a side of rice. I'm also making a cabbage salad and maybe some miso soup.

My little boy is sick with a cold so I've had to stay indoors today but I'll get in some exercise using the Wii shape boxing today!

Today I weighed myself and have lost a kilo!

This makes me feel better about telling my husband not to make reservations at Pierre Herme for the Ispahan Fetish event. Maybe I'll sneak a peak through the window lol.

For breakfast I had a SoyJoy bar (mango and coconut flavor) and a yogurt. For lunch I plan on making rice topped with half kimchi and half seaweed strips and a soft boiled egg on top with a one part soysauce one part sesame seed oil added. The recipe says it's like 400 something calories. With that I'll have a salad and fruit (maybe kiwis yum!). Then for dinner I'm making rice, miso soup, and a new recipe I found in a magazine that will use beef, tomato, ginger, and a little soysauce.

For exercise I'm continuing with the Wii shape boxing and if my son is feeling better today maybe I'll take him to Disneyland or DisneySea for an hour or so to check out the new events that started today.:)

Thanks for dropping in! It's a little windy but I think I will take the little one to DisneySea just for a bit because the weather is just fantastic today. A little outside playtime will probably help his health anyways!

No prob bob.

i wanna go to disney world, ill wear the mickey mouse hat and everything :hat:

well thats more like a cat in the hat type of hat...but you get my drift

Ok! So I deviated from my plan but not in a horrific way lol. We met up with some friends at Disneyland and decided to have lunch there so I went with the roast pork and basil potato salad sandwich and had half of my sons milk pudding which was super yummy! For dinner I'm still sticking with my menu plan from before!:)

Last time I went to Disneyland was way back in fifth grade! Too long ago. It sounds like you still managed to have a healthy lunch! :)

Hi Zephyr! The menu's at DisneySea are much healthier with entire course menu's for around 400 something calories. Of course it was the 26th anniversary and new attraction opening at Disneyland though so my friends were over there! We 10 minutes away by bus so we always go there to play!

Here is an example of the course menu. The pear compote was awesome!

I forgot to write today's menu!

For breakfast we had scrambled eggs seasonen with a little salt and pepper and milk added to make it fluffly with a little camembert cheese. (The camembert cheese is the naughty part haha!) Aloe yogurt and a cup of milk.

For lunch I'm going with what I was going to make yesterday. The rice with nori, kimchi, and the soft boiled egg with kiwi's as a side and salad. Then for dinner I still haven't decided but there is tofu in the fridge so maybe mabodofu, rice, and miso soup with daikon and salad.

I have this espresso marscapone drink in the fridge! It's 120 calories and very naughty I know but I love this drink series and all the flavors are limited so it's just sitting in the fridge. Maybe for this weekend??

I was bad yesterday! I had two chocolates and an icecream! I weigh myself on Monday and hope that by working out a little extra it won't bring my weight up. :( I was also really excited about meeting with my mothers group at DisneySea today (It's perfect for mother's because you can drink wine lol!) but it's been cancelled because it looks like rain. I had a really cute outfit on but I guess I would have had to change it anyways since it's also chilly today, oh well. I guess we will just go to the ocean park next to the house and kick a ball around if it's not raining!

So for breakfast today it is banana and yogurt and I think I will make the chicken soup with potato and carrot that my husband and son love. I pre made a side dish yesterday that was really easy and I think I'll serve it with dinner that had thin sliced cabbage, carrot, and onion cooked for 10 minutes and seasoned with salt and pepper. But I have to check what we have in the fridge and maybe just go to the store. Kabocha (a kind of pumkin) is not expensive now and I still have daikon.

For exercise if it doesn't rain we will walk to the park and run around kicking the ball and then at night Wii Shape Boxing.

everyone uses their wii to exercise...haha i just use mine to play rockband and call of duty w.a.w

It's really good! My Japanese is still not great so I feel uneasy about joining the gym so it's the best thing I have right now. I also like that it keeps a chart of your weight loss too! The DS is very good for recipes as well! The have like 3 or 4 different recipe softwares out and some other ones that my Japanese is not good enough for for things like house budget, keeping track of calories and weight loss, yoga etc.! Definitely many softwares for adults!

I haven't been on in a few days because I have been pretty busy! At one point we were running up the stairs to catch a train and we were holding up the toddler one arm each lifting him over the stairs. That must be good exercise, lol!! On the bad side we were meeting with friends so it was eating out all week end. :-O We will see what the results are at the end of the week!

Today was a mothers group meeting at DisneySea and I'm dead tired but will still get in an extra workout before bedtime so don't worry! My 2 year old will not ride a stroller so we he gets tired he has to be carried and that park is packed with stairs and hills everywhere. Not to mention we were in the standing area for the new show so I was carrying the child through the show which is like 30 minutes long and involves jumping lol. I had veggie juice for breakfast and this noodles and seafood dish for lunch that I split with my son with a rice ball as a snack later in the day. Sooo tired....

In the shape boxing game I unlocked this thing called challenge mode so you can do side exercises for as long as you like. There is one option where you are jogging which is broken up by boxing which is really good! I would like to work more on push ups though because I'm so weak at it. I want to do the Wii fit too!

WoWzers!!!

Can I have you as a Mom for a day!?! You make THEE Best meals!! Ok I'll calm down, but really first all those delicious decadents and now some freakin rad meals!!! Not to mention Disneysea and Disneyland! Take me! Take me! oo! oo!

Looks like you have yourself a well balanced diet! If I ever get around to posting what I eat...we can share our "naughtiness" mmm mmm. ;) I've lucked out on the wii fit, I've heard soo many good things about it!!

I've been trying to get my dad to get excited about visiting Japan as our next travel vaca, but I think he is concerned about the not being able to speak Japanese and having a interpreter... anyways will talk to you lata
:seeya:

you're in japan!? you are so lucky. i really want to go there to learn the language through the foreign exchange program, but i heard EVERYONE wants to go there, so it's apparently hard to get into the program :( :( :( !!!

Japan is a country that's really easy if you don't speak the language I think. My friend came with no knowledge of Japanese whatsoever and he got around with no problems! If you guys ever get around to the Tokyo area let me know! :)

Have you looked into the JET program? I know a few people who have done it and they all really loved it!

Ok! I went to weigh myself and have lost 0.9 kilos! I've almost made it to 63 kilos! This is pretty good I think since 1 kilo is like 2 pounds (right??) which is a healthy number to lose a week. It's such a small loss but do feel thinner and my husband has noticed it as well! Today I'm going to stick to more of the same and reward myself with the Pasha! aroma fragrance that I wanted to buy! If I do good next month I'll buy these cute new Channel makeup colors I saw in a magazine yesterday! Then when my goal is reached I'm definitely going to a Spa!! Alright enough thinking ahead, lol.

Today is yougurt and the rest of this Soy drink I bought yesterday with strawberries. For lunch I'll make a soup with the veggies I have in the fridge and some rice and salad. Then for dinner I'm making beef with sliced bamboo and green pepper (no clue what the name is in English! :p ) with the soup from lunch and salad. Back to work!!

Right On! Those sound like great goals to achieve and helps keep yourself in the game with little rewards to look forward to here and there!!

Tokyo, that would be fun! Dad's been looking into going to Costa Rica for a year...but only when I get better, and maybe when the economy comes back...

Busy weekend as usual except that this weekend I was really good! In fact we went o a restaurant today and I ordered a yummy salmon and avocado salad...My husband ordered this fabulous looking panacotta! I didn't even taste it!:Angel_anim:

So I was thinking of writing about my adventures trying popular diet products here haha! I'm trying some for the fun of it and if it works then bonus! Today I bought this hot pepper bath powder which is supposed to be good for dieting! (about 2-3$) Maybe I will try it tomorrow night.:)
