Diary of a mad fat woman!

Hello all,

I joined this site today and read some of the diaries and became truly inspired. Here's a little back story. I've always struggled with my weight I'm 5'2 and the lowest I've ever weighed was 139lbs the highest was 173 and that was after I had my daughter. Right now I weigh 152.6 so that means I've only lost 20.4 lbs of the baby weight :cuss: in 9 months!. I desperately want to get down to 115. I think I would look perfect at this weight, especially since I'm so short. I started turbo fire on the 23rd of July and have lost 2 lbs since! whoohooo! lol. I'm hoping to get to my goal weight by christmas, but I'm willing to settle for the New year :)

I workout with turbofire and plan to do a chalean extreme/turbofire hybrid after I finish the inital 12 weeks, to gain some muscle.

Heres some pics at my starting weight. (well when I was 155 lbs). I will take new ones every 10 lbs I lose to show progress, so when I reach 145 I will take some more.

Hello, EshaBoo, welcome to the site! I'm pretty new myself and my body pretty much looks like yours right now! I hope you will find inspiration in all of these wonderful people, as I have. And your baby is absolutely adorable! Good luck!

So far I've had water and an emerald "breakfast on the go" meal.

Total calories 190


My goal for calories is 1200 a day and I aim to burn at least 600.

Love your pics, sure you have a little belly, but you look good overall!! Don't get too down on yourself!

I really needed those words of encouragement. After I had my baby I've just been feeling so down about myself. I still look pregnant:banghead:. I've been really serious about my weightloss since the 24th of July though, and have dropped 3 lbs total since then :).


TurboFire is no joke, I've already looked into getting Insanity. I'm committed this time for the rest of my life.!
 
Found some questions that I thought I should answer.

-- How much weight do you want to lose? Right now? About 42 lbs from start weight? 50 lbs

-- What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight? Hopefully by the New Year

-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)? Exercise, and great diet

-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal? This community and my food tracker on lose it. My husband and daughter are pretty good motivators

-- How realistic is your goal? I think it's pretty realistic

-- When will you start? I already started July 23rd.

To feel and look good.

Nah, I'm just tired of being fat.

Sweets, I love them, but they don't love me!
7. Why do you think that you now have a weight problem?
I've always known I just didn't do anything about it.

Finishing turbofire, and eating healthy
9. Have you lost weight in the past? If so, what has worked in the past to help you lose weight?
Yes, but It was by starving myself, and I ALWAYS gained the weight back.
10. Why do you believe that you did not lose weight or you gained the weight back?
Because I didn't do it the right way.
11. What, if anything, has not worked for you in the past in helping you to lose weight? Why do you think it did not work?
I have never given any plan more than a week...I'm not sure what will or will not work.
12. Would you try writing down all food and drink consumed for a given period of time?
Yes.
13. Do you cook at home often? If so, what do you cook?
No I do not. I hate cooking, but I know I need to if I want to lose the weight.
14. How often do you go out to eat? Where do you go?
Once a weeks, to typical fast food restaurants. Sometimes I go to other places like red lobster or outback
15. What are your three favorite foods?
macaroni, pizza, CHOCOLATE!
16. What are your three favorite restaurants?
Burger King, Smitty's, and Bonanza.
17. What are three things you can do differently when it comes to food?
No fast food. No junk food or at least a lot less of it. More water!
18. If you woke up tomorrow and your body was exactly the way you want it, what would be different?
I would have a slim stomach, slim thighs, and a skinner face
19. Do you eat when you are not hungry?
while watching tv
20. Do you binge eat (large amounts at a time)?
Yes.
21. Do you hide your food or eat in secret?
lol no?
22. Do you eat when you are sad, nervous, or depressed?
Yes.
23. Do you eat as a reward?
Yes.
24. Do you eat while watching TV or using the computer?
Yes.
25. What do you normally eat for a meal?
snack food.
26. What type of snacks do you eat?
I like nachos and anything with cheese
27. In terms of exercise, what, if anything, are you currently doing?
Turbofire :)
28. Where do you go for exercise? A local public gym? School/work gym? Home?

29. What, if anything, are your three favorite types of exercise?
I like home dvds that show me what to do, That way I can be super intense.
30. What is your daily/weekly/monthly/yearly motivation to move towards your goals?
A pair of size three pants my sister gave me awhile back. I want to fit them!
31. Do you have rewards for certain goals?
When I reach 130 lbs I'll buy some new clothes and when I reach my goal weight (115) I get an entire new wardrobe! :D
