Diary of a Mad Fat Asian

AThanks for the sweet comment, Risty :) I think they're good people...just different, hehe. Happy belated wedding anniversary!

Went running in the park today for about an hour today, but it wasn't a great as I thought. My fucking throat's been bothering me for the past few days. Like there's something stuck in there...its not dry or sore or anything, just really uncomfortable. I don't know quite how to explain it even if I did go see a doctor. It's really been pissing me off and it gets worse whenever I try to exercise. I've been taking cough drops all day but it feels the same only more...mediciney.

I lost only another pound this week and that really aggravated me on top of the throat thing. I've been at or under my caloric allowance nearly all week. So I was in a bad mood all day. I need to start running harder and faster again. This walking bullshit is not gonna cut it. Of course, I couldn't run too much today because my throat would start acting up. FML, seriously.

So its gonna cost me around $750 to tow my car from here to California. I was thinking of driving it there but the cost of gas makes me hesitate, plus with my luck I'm sure my car will breakdown in somewhere in the Arizona desert miles from civilization. I've taken a bus from Texas to California those endless stretches of plains and desert are damn scary.

Since I was in a sour mood all day, all I managed to eat was a chef salad and a bag of Reese's Pieces. Oh, and I found out, you can have your ticker in your post, but you have to do it manually....just copypasta the code into each post. Like So:

I don't why the signature portion of our posts behave differently, but AllCdnBoy says that we should have tickers functioning as intended by the end of this month. I think I'm gonna copy/paste my ticker on each post from now on. I miss vault boy cheering me on.

AHi diary, so this was today in a nutshell:

Or in emoticon form:

:D :( :)

I woke and weighed myself and I was down three more pounds from yesterday. I was running a slight fever, but my throat agitation had mitigated itself significantly, so I was in good spirits.

Not eating that much yesterday kinda boomeranged on me today, but it wasn't as nearly as bad as it could've been. I met up with Mark at i-Fratelli's and we shared a large thin crust pizza
with bacon, mushrooms, sausage, pepperoni, and extra cheese. Also shared a plate of chicken fettuccine alfredo. I ate only about four squares of pizza even though I haven't had it a looooong time. Mark took home the rest.

Came home later and mp3 player had mysterious vanished. It pissed me off for three reasons:

1) I was 99.9% sure that I left it in my room because I don't take it out unless I plan on working out for the day -- which I didn't today.

2) It was an expensive player Anton had given me for Christmas and I had over 500 songs on there.

3) It caused my fever to spike to the point where I was feeling dizzy and nauseous after tearing up my room and retracing my steps.

I was ready to punch some kittens and kick some puppies. I don't know if it was the fever that made me delirious but I kept looking for it for at least three hours, knowing damn well in the back of my mind that it was gone forever. Any sane person would've given up after an hour. I mean, there were only a few places it possibly could've been and I searched them all....again and again.

Soon, I just collapsed in bed wondering why I was letting this relatively minor mishap get to me. It was just an mp3 player. I need to chill out and stop letting these things stress me out so much. It's bad for my blood pressure. After a couple more hours, my fever dissipated, I watched a few comedy shows, I've accepted that my poor mp3 speiler is gone forever, and I ate a double cheeseburger from Burger King I had bought before I knew Mark wanted to go out :)

Awww, that sucks about your MP3 player! I hate when things you love go missing! I had an anime box set (special edition Escaflowne with toy) go missing for a year! I just could NOT think of where the hell it could possibly have been. I used to live (and now live again) in my grandparents basement and I had checked it over and over and couldn't find it. So one day I decided, I'll look AGAIN and I noticed something weird.... There was a large white plastic bucket, with a plank of wood on top (as a lid) and a flower on top of it. So I though to myself, I should look in there, though it would be the stupidest place to put anything. Well, it was in there. I told my grandma and she said oh yeah... I put it in there. They don't like things being out in the open and want things to look clean... well bloody hell, don't put my dvd's in a bucket, with a piece of wood and a flower on it! I'm lucky I decided to look in that stupid spot. I may have never found it! OY!

LOL, slight rant there.... Anyways, I hope your fever is gone and you're feeling better. Hopefully the throat thing is just from your cold and will go away completely once you're better. Just try and get enough to eat and sleep!

ALMAO great story, Christina. xD Were you really peeved about it? Thanks I feel a lot better, and I found my mp3 player in the driver side floorboard of my car. Only God knows how it ended up there.

Finally got in touch with the guy who owns the towing company this afternoon to sort out some details after playing phone tag with him for a bit. He had a pretty sweet New England accent, not too loud and abrasive like Mark's ^_^ Anyway he seemed really nice -- almost too nice and I get the feeling I'm about to get rooked on the price I was originally quoted, but we'll see.

Did really good on food today, but that was a given considering yesterday's caloric nightmare. Drank a ton of water to flush out the excess sodium. Only ate a packet of ramen noodles for lunch, some grapes for a snack and later a three egg omelet with garlic, one red chili pepper, and some green onion. Did my running / walking routine at the park for an hour and a quarter.

One of the great things about living in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is the access I have to all types of kick ass food. (I guess that can be a bad thing too) I'm really gonna miss it...except for the Chinese food because it sucks since its mostly cooked by Mexicans :-/

I need to make this list to remind me of the places I need to revisit one last before I leave. Probably wont have the time or energy to hit them all up but I'll try.

Fried chicken places:
-Big Mama's Chicken and Waffles
-Pollo Campero
-Bubba's
-Babe's

Ethnic:
-Bavarian Grill (German food, obviously)
-Cooper Street Bakery (Czech bakery)
-Ba Le Deli (Vietnamese sandwich shop)

Soul Food:
-Sweet Georgia Brown's
-Po' Melvin's

Wow no wonder I've been been packing on the pounds....damn I'm hungry now :( I promise that wherever I go, it will be the only meal of the day :)

AToday was "Eat whatever the F I want" day. I had it coming. I've been doing fantastic on my food for the past three weeks and I was getting some huge cravings. I think we all need these days to keep us on track.

So I ordered a two piece mixed fried chicken meal that came with fries, a giant biscuit and a 32 oz Pepsi. I also ordered a three piece jalapeno bombers with ranch....mmmmm its was so damn good. I didn't finish the entire meal because I found myself getting full faster than normal. Then I ordered two double cheeseburgers from McDonald's in case I get peckish later tonight.

For exercise I sat on my ass all day playing Fallout, watching youtube, messing around forums, texting, and just being a slug in general. I've been running/ walking every day for the past two weeks so I don't feel too bad. I need to start studying for my law school admission test, which I plan on taking in december...but not enough mood lately.

I totally agree, we all need a cheat day once a week:):) But like you said you have been exercising and eating healthy the last 3 weeks so you are doing great great:) I hope your ready to start back to eating healthy and exercise tomorrow dude!!:)

Yeah I was peeved that my grandma would put it in there! I literally had no idea where it was for over a year! I'm just glad I found it! I'm glad you found your MP3 player!

Yeah, I have bad eating days too. We went to an all you can eat sushi place, it was SO good! I didn't even bother counting the calories for that meal... HA! I just want to eat what I want sometimes and as long as I don't do it too often then that's ok.

Why are you moving if you like it where you are?

Just wanted to stop by and say that I hope you're doing well, Day, wherever ya are
