This is my new diary. I am well on my way to losing weight :) .

I also added one of those weight counters to my signature, but it isn't showing up. Does anyone know how I can remedy this problem?

Yay for a more hopeful you! I love on the fitday site that you can track how many calories you burn too. That's awesome!
 
Today was okay. It seems that the day goes well until around 10pm. I've, thus far, managed to control the mid-afternoon binge. Now it is the late-night binge that is killing me. Still, 1 binge is better than 2 binges. And, according to fit-day, my binge did not even set me above what I spent in calories.

How do you all handle binge cravings? I think the mid-afternoon was due to hunger, which I fixed through more frequent, but smaller and healthier meals. The late-night binge is due to a combination of both habit and boredom. Any suggestions?
 
Make yourself drink water (or 8oz of orange juice if you're craving something sweet). If you eat out of boredom, then try not to let yourself get bored. Take a nap, clean the house, study, etc. I found that I always eat when I'm in the living room in front of the tv. Soooo, I told myself I couldn't eat at all in the living room until I unlearned that nasty habit. I also can't watch tv much at night because I'll want to snack on something, so I watch it during the day and it's no problem. :)

If it's late-nite snacking you're having problems with, maybe go to bed? I know that sounds stupid, but maybe you just need to adjust your schedule some? Just a thought.

I have the same problems. I cut myself off and thats that. It was a hard adjustment. Now at night when I feel like a stack I just have some hot tea.......as many cups as it takes.
