Diary of a Fat Bird...

good luck for the weigh-in. I have scales in my bathroom... and rather sadly I have been checking my weight every other day pretty much!!! Still for me it has helped motivate me a bit (on the days I check I do it at the same time, once in the morning on an empty stomach, and once in the evening immediately after dinner). I have been really lucky so far and seen what i would consider to be a fairly significant loss, given I have only been going for 10 days I have lost nearly 6lbs. So pumped about this! I know this rate will slow down soon, and that probably half of that is water weight, but still Im pretty excited about it. I'm taking my girlfriend for dinner and a night in a country house hotel for her birthday at the end of february, so it's now my goal to have reached a healthy bmi by then - (12st 4 and under) so 10lbs to lose over the next 6.5 weeks. 1.5lbs a week or 2.2lbs in every 10 day period... Should be doable eh!!! Im off on 10day skiing holiday soon, and that should help to tear some fat off me and get me fitter, and in feb i will start the Alternate day fasting programme and also a gym programme to tone up my muscle! Bonus would be if I could get to 12 stone for her birthday, as my target weight is 11st 10lbs, so I really wouldn't be far away from it then!!!!
 
Good luck with those goals Skibum :p I I bet you will be at 12Stones for your girlfriend's birthday :p :D Skiing...is something I did once and LOVED. Never been soooo toned in my life as when I got back from a week's trip....soooo much fun too! :D Have a great time! I shall be sitting here feeling very jealous that I am not the one skiing :p Hehe :)

Funny story about my scales....THEY HAVE BROKEN. No joke. I turned them on, and stepped on them, about a million times, and they simply say 0...clearly I do not weigh nothing, so hthere is something wrong...I also can't find the garuntee, which is a pain in the ass....oh well :S I have just been binging out since I have been upset this weekend too...several million pounds in library fines because they can't sort out their own system and have to charge whatever the computer, which is a fail, says :( FML. Basically.

So I'm starting again today...since this diary has been a fail...I may actually start a new one...fresh start! o_O
 
Feeling pretty rubbish laterly, definitely lacking exercise. My roommates want me to come out all the time and I feel so down that I just can't be bothered...plus I don't want the calories of alcohol running through my system :(

A couple of days ago dad came to visit me with a movie and chocolate...lots of chocolate, but was great to see him so I forgot the calories and had fun :) The next day (yesterday) was wicked as I went to see my lovely pals upstairs for a late night game of manopoly (folded early and came home to bed though...at about 12.30 hahaha)...wonder who won...I suppose I'll find out later when I go for a visit.

This month I'm trying to get all my work done so I don't have to work apart from revision in the next few months, and can have more a) funtime, b) gymtime, and c) going to visit my family time :) I recently got the highest mark for my essay in one class, but I focused sooo hard on it I let the others slide...so I'm not looking forward to the results....sadly this means more binge eating and more weight gain *SADFACE*

Plus I have a meeting with the proffessor I look up to most on tuesday, over two so-called "group" essays....one of which I did by myself, because noone else could be bothered...the other another girl did because I said since I had a) done some research for that, and b) written the whole other essay alone I would not be participating in, and noone else would could be bothered...the others haven't even read either essay. Whey. I'm gunna re-read mine and hers so I know what we've actually done. Sooo scared though, as I talked to a mate who also did this, with another group, and his group worked mega hard together and they still got a middle-ish mark. Ooh dear. Hopefully I can get mega high marks on my essays this term and pass the year well!

Oh, happy days are ahead though I hope as I have discovered cheaper squash in tesco (orange, lemon, lime, apple and blackcurrent, PLUS they have less cal than the sainsburys one!!) And I have also found out, whilst broke, that Tescos brand Diet Cola and Almond, with Trace calories is tastytastytasty! Though the smell takes a while to get used to!! Lol!

Finally today: 300Cal so far...
