Does anyone think I'm a perfectionist?

I consider myself an unfocused, almost manic person who starts things and seldom finishes them. I did well in school only because of deadlines--I seldom procrastinated in college (although I always did in high school). I finish races. That's about it. Oh, and I finish dinners and cleaning. For fucks sake I only have been working 20 hours a week lately and I have NO CHILDREN and I can't find the time to sit and read like I should be! P.S. I almost NEVER finish books. It is a horrible secret I harbor!

What I'd like to do:

#1 Study more often from my Essentials of Personal Training textbook
#2 Read more about nutrition
#3 Find a way to meal plan and shop accordingly, I have a bunch of new cookbooks and recipe ideas and also a plan to make tartlets.
#4 Clean out the rest of my old car and donate it to Salvation Army
#5 Do online traffic school
#6 Finish unpacking :rotflmao:
#7 Clean guns
#8 Go shooting and I guess clean guns again!
#9 Get rid of a bunch of shit, reorganize my things
#10 Feel like a productive, organized, and clean person who avoids refined sugar and excessive drinking!
#11 Oh fucking yeah, and lose the last 10-15 pounds and track my foods and all that goes into that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please........I seriously am NOT bipolar! :willy_nilly: I just am extremely motivated and well-intentioned, these things prevent me:

#1 Time on the computer
#2 Time spent with friends, maintaining good relationships
#3 Me Time--this is good for my health but it fucks with my productivity
#4 CLEANING temporary messes like from cooking
#5 Taking showers and sleeping and going to work!
#6 Exercise, though not in the past 6 days....

I have so much I want to do. Last week I tried to write it all down and do one thing a day. That worked for 3 days. Then my parents visited, Halloween, party time with my friends and boyfriend.....making that cake for kelly's b-day!

Oh yes, the cake. I tried to make it growler-shaped. It was too moist to frost, but I managed anyway! And it fell apart in the car a little, but I'll upload some pictures....
Here is the Beer Growler shaped cake I made. I learned a LOT and th next cake I make in the shape of ANYTHING shall look MUCH BETTER:


And Kelly was VERY happy, and grateful, and i even gave her my old b-day Tiara to wear:



And here is Jimmy that cat. He's SO CUTE!

And he was trying to steal my wallet!

Oh good, Tammy, you made me feel better! Sometimes I wonder if anyone bothers to look at the pictures, and i realized I think I may have more paper-clipped to this thread than anyone else's....maybe. I just recently discovered that you can, when on the Diaries List page, just click on the paper clip icon next to the person's thread name and see just that pictures attached to their thread. What a DOOFUS I am for not realizing that!

Haha! Cute cake! Here's a tip, when it's too moist, put it in the freezer for a little while to make it more firm. Baking is a hobby for me. I want to be the kind of mother that always bakes for her kiddos.

Gotta watch those cats. Sneaky little fuckers. Lol!
 
Foods

I can't even count calories lately I've been so overwhelmed!

But today I ate very well:

Walnuts, 1.5 ounces
Acai Juice
cereal, soy milk, blackberries, raspberries, and agave nectar
Organic yogurt with a drizzle of agave nectar
beet and leek stir-fry with feta cheese
my housemate made, and gave me some.
green jasmine tea with agave

I consider this fantastic so far. Yes that is about 2 tablespoons of agave total. But at least it's a low GI sweetener. I have to do SOMETHING about my sweet tooth, and this is MUCH better for my blood sugar than processed cane sugar. I'm about to get a 3pm pick me up meal, I think I need to get some grains and protein in and I should be fine. I crave a sandwich. I betcha $20 that's what my body needs. Tatiana told me she listens to what her body needs--she's always eating greens and tubors, I tease her about her wacky things she has lying around (she cultures her own yogurt stuff).

You mentioned that showering is one of the things that takes up your time and keeps you from doing other things. Well, I wouldn't stop showering..lmao. I think that's more important than cleaning out your car. :D

That cat is so damn adorable, they love getting inside stuff dont' they?? I have one that will sneak into any open container she finds, and she likes to sneak into my bathroom cabinet, little sneaker!

Thanks VBF, no I was resting yesterday.

Last night I drank wine with my Girl Friend Ali and we laughed and laughed and had a wonderful time and did a Tarot card reading that we couldn't finish and watched South Park and stuff.

I am very busy currently, I'm about to start a new project! LOL!

I have been totally eating and drinking surpluses, no weighs in for me!!

BUT today is Day 1 of exercise after my 7 day break! YAY!!

I'm not in the mood for the forum today, I'm so sorry, but I'll be back to check on you, hope there are no emergencies!!!

I know exactly how you feel about bf, b/c I felt that way many times in the past--but not lately..lmao. I think the best thing is not to let him know how much you miss him during the week and how sad it makes you to say goodbye on Sunday pm. In fact, the more nonchalant you appear to be about it, the more likely he is to want you around more. Men are strange creatures. :biggrinjester:

And what's the deal with this sleeping all day bull shit.
