I'm having another great day :D

But now I'm off to work from 3 until 9 ... but it's a good workout, hopefully I have 5 massages...we'll see!

Still got 500 calories left for today but I usually eat more when I'm at work cuz I get hungry quite a bit. And I need more water but I'll get plenty at work.

Starting Biggest Loser challenge tomorrow ... I'm already doing the Memorial Day - Independence Day challenge and thought BL would challenge me even more!

You can look above to my previous post for my food intake for today ... I think I did much better today, got my recommended caloric intake!

Here are my daily totals:
Cal - 1319g
Fat - 43g
Carbs - 162g
Protein - 81g
Fiber - 20g

And here's the exciting part! I'm a massage therapist and on FitDay.com (what I use to monitor my daily intakes) it says that I burned 1,027 calories at work today. I had 5 hours of massaging and that's what I burned. Plus I took a walk this morning which burned 154.

At work it's so enticing because we have a buffet with lots of yummy food ... but I did good today, I only had salad and cottage cheese and a hard boiled egg. The lasagna looked so good .... But I think I might have to start bringing my own dressing b/c I used their Italian and it has way to many calories and certainly way too much fat!

Okay well I need to get some rest ... I'm exhausted from work! Good night :)
 
I am so sweaty!! I just finished doing The Biggest Loser DVD workout #1. I've never done them before so it was new for me, but man was that rough. My legs are burning. But I really loved it ... I didn't feel intimidated or lost or anything. It feels like they're right there with you doing it.

Today is going to be a long day. I have a lot of errands that I need to do this morning and then I really really need to clean the house. But I also have to go to work at 2:30 so the cleaning may not get done today ...ugh! However right now I could care less about the amount of dust floating around , I'm more concerned with eating right and exercising and if that comes first then so be it!

....ooooh but it is pay day!

Hmm okay well here's where I'm at today ...

Breakfast - 1 Special K waffle with 1 T. peanut butter, 32 oz. water

Snack - Banana

Lunch - Whole Wheat and Honey Pita Pocket filled with 1 can of tuna in water, 1 T. miracle whip light, lettuce, and a sprinkle of reduced fat parmesan cheese; 16 oz. Crystal Light Lemonade

Snack - 1 c. Dannon Light n Fit Vanilla yogurt with 6 strawberries, 16 oz. water

Dinner - 1c. lettuce with some broccoli and carrots w/ 1 T. red kidney beans and a teeny bit of balsamic vinaigrette; 1 c. cottage cheese, 3 strawberries, 8 oz.Diet Coke

At work - had appx. 48 oz. water

Snack - 2 lg. hardboiled eggs, 1 c. skim f/f milk

Exercise - BL DVD workout #1, 4 1/2 hours of massage

Vitamins - 2 Omega 3, 2 Vitamin C, 2 Scorch

Doing great, I'm so proud of myself and I owe it to all of you guys! Without you I wouldn't be having such success. I'm feeling great and loving life right now :D Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

Today my bf complimented me on how great I'm doing and he also said he noticed that my stomach was getting a bit smaller.

Had a great day at work ... 4 1/2 hours of massage and I got $95 in cash tips. This really sweet old man left me $45 ... I was floored ...

Previous post shows my food, exercise and vitamins for the day but here are my daily totals:

Cal - 1391 g
Fat - 32 g
Carbs - 159g
Fiber - 33g
Protein - 117
Water - 96 or so oz.

Great, your diet looks so healthy it's bound to be doing you the world of good! I decided to loose weight by simply eating healthier as well and it's working well for me too!:) Keep up the good work!:cool:
 
Oh and despite it being a great day ... I didn't get the house cleaned ... ah! I hate that so much, why can't their be cleaning fairies or something? I'm too poor to afford a cleaning person .... and much too picky!

Maybe Monday ....

Thanks L-Jay, Rosered and Crunchie! I am super excited today .... I got on the scale (it's not even my weigh in day) and I'm down in the 170s ... 179.6 to be exact. I guess I'm doing something right :D I have to go to work in a bit at least I'm in a good mood. Did have to wake up early today so I didn't get my exercise in yet ... but I will be doing BL workout 3 this afternoon. Have a great Saturday all!

Breakfast - Special K waffle with 1 T. peanut butter, 16 oz. water

Snack - Banana, 16 oz. water

Lunch - Salad with few veggies, 1 T. kidney beans and 1 T. garbanzo beans and about 1/2 T. of Balsamic Vinaigrette, 1 slice fresh melon, Diet coke, 1 c. cottage cheese, 1 egg(hardboiled)

Snack - 16 oz. water

Dinner - 4 oz. Seasoned Grilled Chicken Breast, 1/2 cup rice pilaf, small salad with no dressing, 10 oz. water (I went out to eat and I did great ... the fries looked yummy but I did it :) )

Snack - (more like a 2nd dinner today) Lean Cuisine Skillet - Chicken Alfredo 1 cup, Diet Pepsi, and a Skinny Cow Mint Ice Cream sandwich (mmmm)

Exercise - none today, I was bad!

Vitamins - 2 Omega 3's, 2 Vitamin C, 1 Scorch

Today I wasn't bad but I didn't get any exercise in. I guess today will be my official day off on the BL challenge. I had to work today and then I went out to a late lunch/early dinner. And tonight was grocery shopping night. Got lots of yummy food ... normally I pick up something bad like some candy or cookies but not today! It hit 113 degrees out today ... too hot! Maybe that's why I didn't want to exercise today:cool: In fact, right now I'm eating my Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich cuz it's so hot!

Okay here's today's totals:

Cal - 1272g ( a little less cuz of no exercise)
Fat - 32g
Carbs - 153g
Fiber - 17g (a little low)
Protein - 96g
Water- 74 (should have had more)

Feels like I'm forgetting something but I guess that's all...until tomorrow:D
 
Wake Up Call

I got woken up this morning by my work ... wondering if I could come in early. I said NO! I couldn't believe that I actually said no, I always say yes. I'm so proud of myself :p

After they called I went back to bed ... but woke up about 10 minutes later and decided it was time to get up. I put in Biggest Loser workout #3 ... but I realized I didn't have any free weights around. So ... I stopped that and decided I'd do it after work tonight. Better late than never.

Snack - 4 medium shrimp, 6 Garden Herb Triscuits, 3 pineapple slices, 2 Fig Newtons, 6 Doritos (ahhh! I'm mad at myself for that one), Popsicle

Vitamins - One a Day, 2 Omega 3, 2 Vitamin C, 1 Scorch

Exercise - None, yet again :( I do bad when I have to work weird hours!

Liberation

Well done on saying no to work. I usually feel guilty when I say no, but I'm working on that. I reckon thats part of the problem a lot of us have a weight problem, we worry a lot about what others think of us, and feel guilty if we dont do what every one else wants, instead of looking after ourselves. Its very liberating to say no and not worry about it.
 
I didn't have a great day today ... had the munchies tonight and couldn't feel satisfied for some reason. I was way too tired when I got home from work to exercise, therefore I really regret not doing something this morning. I will definitely get back on the exercise bandwagon tomorrow.

Here are today's totals:
Cal - 1350
Fat - 41
Carbs-180
Protein - 70
Water-80 oz.


Tomorrow I will shoot for a little more protein and a little less fat, and most importantly I have to exercise ...


but on a side note it was 115 or so degrees today :eek:
 
Tiredness is my biggest enemy when it comes to sensible eating. Also heat can really sap your energy. Just do your best. And dont forget the incidental exercise you get at work

I am a snacker when I am tired too! Evening is my Worst enemy. I have tried really hard to get out and walk when I feel this way or least come here and read some posts. You are doing awesome!
 
Thanks everyone for the support! This morning I slept in. I had a long weekend at work and I've just been exhausted lately from the lack of sleep. So ... I slept till 10 today. Kinda messes up my day a little bit, but I feel so refreshed and I will definitely work around it. Haven't exercised yet. I have to shower in a few minutes cuz I have to go into work for 2 hours to give massages. That right there will be some exercise and then hopefully when I get back no one will be home and I can do my BL workout. I weighed in this morning for my 1 challenge (memorial-independence) and I was down 4.6. OK here we go....

Breakfast - 3/4c. Special K Protein Plus cereal with 1/2 c. milk; 1 med. peach

Snack - Tab Energy; few slices of Oven Roasted Turkey breast

Lunch - Lean Cuisine Skillet - 1 serving,

Snack - South Beach Cereal Bar - Cinnamon Raisin, 6 oz. Orange Guava Juice
