Deschain's Daily

That's ok..the neighbor gave them back:( I've giving the bag of potato sticks to the other neighbor and keeping the tweenkies for Ash.

I think I'm going to send it all to work with my husband. Those people there will eat anything - and lots of it.

It's just soooo hard to give away candy. I mean, it's CANDY!!!!

But, I've got to stop ruining all my hard work over a couple of pieces of candy and cake.

If I get it all together and put it in a bag (tied really really well) to send with him to work, then maybe I won't mess with it.

----
I have got to go eat some breakfast - coffee just doesn't count.

OK, are y'all ready?

Aahhheemmmm (clears throat)

I threw the cake awaw!!!!!!!!!:D :D and I gave away (most) of the candy to a friend. I kept a couple of pieces that I'm going to put wayyyy in the top of the pantry so I have to actually get my step stool and climb my butt up there to get, so I will have to really think about it before I eat a piece, which usually means I won't eat it. So I'm feeling pretty good right about now.

Also, I've eaten right around 1000kcal so far today, and still have 2 more "meals" to go, so I'm going to end up really well today on that end too. I'm breastfeeding, so I'm staying around 1800 kcal a day.

LOL this post reminded me of an episode of Sex in the City when one of the girls (the red head, dont know her name) kept trying to resist to eat some cake, but she kept going in the kitchen to eat a bite, so to resist she threw the whole thing in the garbage and poured dish soap all over it....lol ...five minutes later she ducked in the garbage and found a "clean" piece.

but im proud of u that u didnt do that :D

Our house is the same way Sadie. I really need to work on getting the junk food out of the house. It's slowly going, really slow.

If a tasty food is in the house, it's VERY hard for me to resist. So I usually have no junkfood in the house at all, my husband isn't much of a junkfood eater so that helps. My downfall though, is salami. My husband bought a big package of it the other day, and this is really GOOD salami. It's so unhealthy let alone fattening, but I can't resist having a little bit on a piece of bread here, a little bit there...before you know it's all gone. I just don't have any willpower against salami. It's lame.

We actually went through our kitchen with a garbage bag a while back. No kidding.

My husband had blood work done (b/c he was feeling really bad all the time w/ no actual symptoms). His cholesterol was borderline, his ratio was not so great, and his triglycerides were wayyyy high - and he was 30 and not at all overweight. Big wake up call - since his mom has had a stroke and his dad has had a stroke and a heart attack - and neither of them are overweight either.

So, we cleared the fridge and the pantry of all things unhealthy. I mean, even down to the margarine - we now use SmartBalanceLight. There was candy, LittleDebbie snacks, Oreos, all kinds of crap - he actually brought a big box of it up to his job and they ate it all in like less than a day.

Since then, he has been feeling tons better. We haven't had his blood work redone yet, but plan to.

Yeah, it's crazy how much better in general people tend to feel when they start to cut the garbage out of their diets.

OK, today I'm doing great.

Wednesday
1680 kcals (might have a light snack in a bit)
Workout
Lunges
BenchPress
Dips
Pullups
Spin class

Thursday

Haven't entered my kcals yet, kind of scared to. (we were busy with the concrete people all day, so I ate like crap) No actual workout today, but it's my scheduled off day, so that's cool.

Thursday

I went to the gym this morning and worked out (full body), so I'm happy about that. Eating is so-so today (cheated a bit, but not bad). Hey, it's my "week", so don't judge me, I need some chocolate damn it! :p

Misery loves company. Can i have some of your chocolate??!!

...um..thats not a question
