Well it is only day 2 of my diet and i have already buggered up big time and eaten stuff i know i shouldn't have and now i think about it really didn't want to. I get so down on myself for doing it and vow not to do it again, but i think i just set myself up for failure again and again. I don't know what else to do...any suggestions?? I now i am sabotaging myself, but i know no other way that is not detrimental to my health. I restrict myself so much that i dream about food and then i just find myself eating it and then being guilty afterward and the cycle just keeps continuing. I have my meal plan stuck to the fridge, i have my alarm set to get up in the morning to hit the gym...what else can i do. i really want to lose this weight so i can feel more comfortable about myself...but i can't do it on my own...nor do i want to spend a fortune on meal replacements...i love food way too much for that!!! So i guess i will just plod along and keep on posting here and hopefully getting lots of positive encouragement along the way. it is obvious so many people here have lost the weight and now it is my turn..

WELCOME.

Plan and take action. Set yr goals, stick to them. U'll fail one meal or two. It's ok. Pick yrself up again and RECOMMIT (learnt this word from JellyKat). U'll find lots of support here so come on in when u feel like bingeing or out of control.

U dun need expensive meal replacements. We eat healthy normal food like veg, fruits and delicious meat we cook at home. Look around the diaries and u'll get a few ideas.

HAVE FUN
!:D

And don’t forget you can still have the foods you like but portion control, just once a week so you don’t feel deprived. You will be amazed at how soon your favorites change from not so good choices to healthier ones.

Come on, you just started! Of course you're going to make some mistakes here and there! It took me, like, three tries to make a plan and stick to it.
Give yourself some time. It's hard at first, but it gets easier every week. And when you start losing weight, it'll be worth it.

Learn from it and get back into the saddle! It happens /happened to all of us. Dont do yourself down - otherwise I'll have to set the Weightloss Heavy Mob on you!

Remove temptations, and replace them with more tolerable alternatives.

Don't feel bad about falling off the wagon so soon. Just pick yourself up and adjust calories for the next meal. And don't restrict your diet so much that it becomes a problem for you. Your stomach is probably stretched, it has to get used to the smaller portions. Ease into it.

And don't defeat yourself with a crummy attitude. You CAN do this!!!

Pinky is right, don't waste your money on meal replacements. Nearly everyone here eats just like 'a normal person'. The key is how you cook it, and learning to make those fatty meals healthy and yummier at home.

Craving a burger? Buy lean meat, make a thinner patty, add extra seasonings, put it on a wheat bun with tons of veggies, some mustard or ketchup instead of mayo. Learn what works for you, a eat the naughty stuff only in strict moderation. And if you can't do that, then learn to avoid it.

Hang in there, it's always hard at first. :D:D:D

Just remember...messing up once doesn't mean the whole day is shot...messing up one day doesn't mean the whole week is shot...etc. Start over!
