Haha thanks Lux, I did try the bathroom and it still didn't work! But hopefully next week I'll lose enough weight to make up for it :)
 
Ok, I'm over my self-pity about the weight gain or whatever happened. Today marks the start of a new week and I WILL do better! Unfortunately, yesterday I went over my calories and didn't exercise, but I was feeling so down on myself (you'd think with those results I get myself to the gym for a few hours and not eat, but nope). But I am NOT giving up! THis was just a fluke week and I won't let it distract me from the long run.
 
HEY DEANNA! Hope you've been having a good day! I was looking at your workout routines this past week that was posted on the challenge spreadsheet - you did such a good job! You even got the bonus points. Keep up the good work and I KNOWWW the numbers will drop next week! REMEMBER: weight loss equivalent of a baby elephant! :)

PS DONT FORGET TO WATCH BIGGEST LOSER TONIGHT. I have to watch to see if your homeboy DANIEL/DAVID eats another hot dog! ;)
 
After looking at my previous workouts, I realized what might be my problem: not enough cardio. I only do 30 minutes per workout, so at the end of the week, it only adds up to 2-3 hours total. Not good enough. I'm going to start focusing on more cardio rather than more weight training. I'll get more into that once I've lost a significant amount of weight and start focusing on weight training.

Tonight I went to the gym AND stayed within my calories. I didn't have the greatest workout at the gym because my friend and I went, and I never can get a really good workout in when I'm by myself. Anyway, we tried different cardio machines for 5-10 minutes and I realized how much I love the elliptical. It's not the most fun exercise, but I burn a lot of calories in a short amount of time. I'm definitely going to stick to the elliptical for the best calorie-burner, as well as doing walk/jog/run intervals on the treadmil.

ALSO, I weighed myself after I got out of the shower just for the heck of it (heavy towel with my soaked hair wrapped up included) and I couldn't believe what it saidL 173.4. Huh?! Wasn't that the SAME weight it showed the other morning when I was nearly naked and had just woken up after not eating?! I think that scale is messed up. Which is a shame because I specifically looked it up and spent quite a bit of money on it so it would give me an accurate reading. Needless to say, I have no idea how much I weigh.

Ok ok, enough rambling. Gotta go back to the Biggest Loser!
 
Thanks LUX, that's what I'm desperately hoping for! HAHAHA YES! I'm watching it right now and forgot about the hot dog incident, gotta keep an eye out (;

So I was reading your veryyyy first post in your journal and it cracked me up. You weren't kidding when you told me about how you loved the quesadillas at Chilis! :) ALSO when you commented on the fact that you gained weight because you regained movement in your mouth - I laughed. You're so silly!

Anyway hope you get in a great workout this week! :) Let's go lose some LBs! :)

Oh, we will deff win this week AND the overall challenge :D Haha, I love my quesadillas! In fact, I'm going to Chilis tomorrow night (after my workout, of course) and I'm debating whether to save up some calories (tomorrow is my cheat meal day) so I can get what I LOVELOVELOVE or not .. hmm.

Hehe, well I couldn't even physically open my mouth for a week so once I could I just ate whatever I wanted!

I'm planning on working out tonight AND tomorrow night with a home workout before I go out. I realized that I can, in fact, have a social life on weekends and STILL get in all my workouts :D

I realize I haver not been posting much but i have a good excuse! I've been sooo busy lately with the semester closing and I have NO TIME to do anythhing! It sucks, but it's almost over. Don't worry team, I've been exercising and eating right and logging into the spreadsheet. In fact, the scale said 169.2. WHAAAT?! Man, I hope it's not just my scale playing tricks on me cause I'm SO HAPPPY! I've finally gotten out of the 170s :D PLUS, this means I get my first reward, a manicure :D :D

Hope everyone is doing well! I'll be on here more later in the week!
 
OF COURSE I have to get an awful cold right now, right at the start of finals! Ahh it makes it so hard to study and concentrate on my tests ): Hopefully this stupid cold doesn't bring down my grade :X Being sick is also making it difficult to even imagine going to the gym. I don't think I'm up to it .. My head hurts, I'm feeling kinda nausus, and I'm all achy. PLUS the stuffy/runny rose and sneezing. Suffice to say, I will NOT being headed to the gym until I'm feeling better.

I'm so scared about the challenge though, how can I get my points and stay in the competition if I'm too sick to workout?! Ahh this is so frustrating ..
 
OMG! good job wtih the weightloss! i remmeber last week you were so upset but WASNT I RIGHT? about losing the weight equivalent of a baby elepahnt or something? u know -=- 4 pounds, baby elephant. same thing :) :) CONGRATS!!

i hjope you feel better soon! totally sucks to be sick. what i hate the most is not being able tlo breathe through my nose at night. UGH. andd anyway, good luck with finals. do well! school comes first ;] after u ace your finals, come back to us!! :) our team needs u!

I'M NOT DEAD!

I swear, I'm still here, lurking around the threads.

I guess I haven't been posting on here much because I haven't been too so well .. Don't get me wrong, I've busted my way into the 160s (169.8 yay) But my eating has been pretty horrible and I've hardly worked out. I've just been so busy! It's hard to find time to get to the gym and I HATE working out at home ):

I REALLY hope I can get back on track this week because I'm sick of this! I haven't lost any weight in the past 2 weeks (better than gaining I suppose). I'm SO SORRY! to my Team 2 members, I've been a pretty s***** teammate ): I'm ashamed, really.

I'm probably out of the cmpetition now, but I will resume this diary! I PROMISE. Seriously! I've even eaten pretty good today! Now I just need to exercise (though I did go Monday! .. for an hour)

Ok, I promise I'll post back tomorrow.

LUX: Thank you so much for trying to find me! haha. I think part of the reason I kind of abandoned this thread is because I wasn't getting many posts. But, that's probably my fault. Anyway, thank you for stopping by! And because of this, I'm going to get back on track and get this diary moving again (;
 
Promised I would post tonight so I figured I probably should just to keep up with this accountability thing. Just going to make this short cause it's late and I'm typing this from my (new!) Blackberry :D

Today I went out to lunch and did pretty well! Had less than half ny caesar salad and half my quesadillas (4 pieces, so I had about 2). Probably the best dining out eating I've had in a looong time.

Hopefully this is the start of getting back on track!
 
omg deanna! you and your quesadillas. youre hella crazy! :) haha i LOVE IT TOO! when i went on a date this weekend, i ordered the quesadilla explosion salad and i only ate 1 piece of the quesadillas. i was so sad! i wanted liek 10!! UGHHH!! :)

anyway OMGG I LOVEEE blackberries! the plans are so freaking expensive though! so i had to just get a smartphoen wtih a data plan... boo! :( but i hope ur lovin that blackberry!! is it the storm? curve, world??? sooo adorable! im jealous!

anyway keep working out!! those pounds WILL DROP!! :)

Seriously, I have an awful addition but SO GOOODD. And when I make them at home they are also delicious and I can make them a little healthier than a restaurant. OMG I LOVE MY BLACKBERRY! haha. It's a red curve! Yeah, I'm on a family plan so I only pay $60 which isn't tooo bad. Only thing that disappoints me is no youtube ): tried it last night haha.

So Tuesday I went to the gym and did like, 45-50 minutes cardio! 40 on the elliptical and around 7 on the treadmil (had to go so I couldn't go any lonnger) I'm absolutely HORRIBLE at running so that's something I need to work on if I'm going to play lacrosse this season. I'm doing the interval thing were I walk a little, then run, the walk, etc. Also did some upper body strength training. I want to go back tonight butttt I have SOOO much work to do, IDK if I can find the time. We'll seeee .. I really need to go so I probably will.

Anyway, eating has been really goood :) I'm very proud! Can't wait to see some numbers DROP this weekend (hopefully!).

Alright, I should probably plow through some homework if I plan on going to the gym and tanning tonight.

ahah i don tjudge! i totallyyyy tan in the bed too! people are always like DUDE youre gona get cancer. boo! whatever! at least we look HOT! :)

omg so u know how they have diff. level beds? one time i wanted to be "bronze" so i did the top level bed. dude. i just looked HELLA DARK liek i rolled around in the dirt. hella nastyyy haha :)
 
AHAHAHA oh man. I use the level three beds and booths (highest level) for a little bit and got dark, then I couldn't find any time so I'm gettin pale hahah,

OMG I totally agree! I always joke that skin cancer isn't that deadly :X lol
