dead lift, clean, etc.

well considering I have only been lifting for about 3 or 4 months I never really got INTO EVERYTHING. I usually only do flat bench, incline bench, standing curls, preacher curls, push ups, pull ups, calf raiser, and squats, and believe me im not complaining ive noticed(as have others) great gains from all this, especially my upper body(arms, chest, shoulders). But in the gym at school or where ever im lifting that day I notice others doing things like clean, or the dead lift. I wanted to get in on this so i had a couple friend show me the proper way and what not to do the clean and dead. But I cant help but feel my form is just dosent look right when im doing the clean, plus I just cant seem to see what the clean is helping (I mean this as I do not feel much, i understand what the clean works, and the dead can help the legs) but I do not feel like these are helping. Is there anything worth getting out of the clean and dead lift or should I just stop before I get hurt and stick to my other forms of working out?

Also, is there any other exercises im missing out on? I named a few above and there are some others that I do but i think u get what im saying.

clean and deads are excellent! The clean, along with the other oly moves wont nessicarily bang your muscles that hard, its though on the CNS and it improves the CNS. Its an explosive lift, thats why you dont feel it so much, as you have to use light enough weight to get it up on your shoulders.
But trust me, both the lifts are great!

can some1 tell me how these lifts should be done, my friends pretty much covered it but i want to make sure my technique and form is correct. I know its pretty hard if you cant see me do it ureself but i just want to know the proper form so I dont hurt myself, I hear these lifts can cause pretty bad problems if u do them wrong.

post the links here, so you can be sure its good form on the videos. watch them slow motion and study each part of their bodies.
