Okay, I started a diary on another website on 9/4/08 and then yesterday I got an email stating that I was going to have to start paying for the service on 11/1/08. So as of today I am done with that other website.

I will be posting my food from M-Th but not on the weekends. I'm on a computer all day long at work and the last thing I want to do on the weekends is be on one

That being said I work full time and take on-line classes at the tech in hopes of one day getting a bach. degree. In what I'm not sure yet but I do know I want one. So I do go on the computer on the weekends but it's to do and submit homework.

I'm married and also have 3 kids, f-21, m-16 & m-14.

My goals are to lose weight, get in shape and stay that way. I am in the overweight category and diabetes runs in my family. I am in this for the long run so if I only lose 1/2 or 1# a week that is fine with me.

Okay, well, I think because I’ve restarted my journal on this site, I let myself have a free weekend. Not good at all. I ate everything in sight. Saturday was the worst. I kept eating and eating even when I was stuffed. The only good thing was that I mostly ate homemade chicken soup. It had lots of veggies in it but I just could not stop eating. :piggy:

I didn’t do any exercise at all but I did clean and I mean clean my house. It took me all of Friday from 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm and then Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:00pm. That did not include laundry which I did through Saturday while consuming everything in the kitchen. It is so nice to have everything put away, filed and in it’s place. Every counter, table, and dresser is completely free of clutter. Yay!:party:

Tomorrow I will post my food for today and so on. I will also log in my exercise on the following day.

Today I will do strength training and I will get on the treadmill for 30 min. I will also only eat until I feel satisfied and not full.

I did so good yesterday. I did strength training for 20 minutes and then I did interval training on the treadmill for 20 min for 1.40 miles. After warm up I did 40 sec @ 7mph & then 80 sec @ 3mph to recover. It was definitely a workout but it felt good. I’m hoping in three weeks to change it up to 40 sec @ 8mph & 80 sec @ 4 mph.

I ate a lot yesterday but I did pretty well. I was hungry at dinnertime but I dished myself up a regular serving. I finished my plate but then I stopped, I didn’t go back up for seconds. Then later I was hungry again and I was thinking about the cheetos in the cupboard. I didn’t really want cheetos but I was hungry so I decided to have some dried fruit and raw nuts. I probably ate a few more calories than if I’d have gotten into the cheetos but the quality of the calories from the fruit & nuts was 1,000 times better.

I have know idea how the M&M’s snuck in there. It was after my workout and before dinner. Hmmmmm:toetap05:

Didn’t do very well yesterday food wise. My son made a pumpkin pie and I had a piece. Then those stupid m&m’s showed up again, ughhhh. At least they are gone now.

I did work out 30 min on the treadmill for 2.04 miles doing the interval run/walk. Okay I weigh myself everyday but my official weight is on Wednesday of each week last weeks weigh in was screwed up because I was puking sick the Sunday before and then that following Wed. I gained 2 pounds. I know I didn’t gain 2 pounds because I only ate like 300 calories worth of saltines on Sunday and I in my calorie range on Mon. & Tues. I attributed the weight gain with water weight because I got dehydrated on Sunday from puking. So that said…

After weighing myself this morning I am down 3 pounds from last week but I believe that last weeks weight was not true. So I am officially stating it as a 1 pound weight loss figuring from my weight two weeks ago.

Thank you for the welcome cybermama! I peeked into your journal and I loved reading what you eat, especially the "fishballs".

Holy moly I ate like an oinker last night. I’m not too sure on the calorie count because I haven’t picked up a scale yet and so I approximated the quantities. I over approximated just to be safe.

And I didn’t do any workout at all yesterday. Piggish and lazy grrrrrrrrr!

Curses to that darn pumpkin pie! I didn't need the dried fruit or nuts either. I think it was because I ate dinner so early. I usually eat around 7:00pm and last night I ate around 5:30pm.

What is going on? Okay my hunny works who works non-stop finally after 36 days took yesterday and the day before off. Guess what both days I didn’t work out….ughhhh.

I have to stop doing that. I hardly get to see him so when he takes time off I like to spend all my time just being with him.

Tonight is Halloween!!!!! I’m going to watch two scary movies tonight “Strangers” and another one I can’t remember the name of right now but it’s about people in the arctic or Alaska, anyway somewhere in the snow and cold.

For the last 3 or 4 days I’ve been having this feeling like a rock in my gut that keeps pushing up into my lungs. I have a bloated feeling even when I’m hungry I feel this way. I’m not going to drink any coffee this weekend and hope that’s what’s causing it. We shall see.

I’m not even going to mention exercise today and see what happens.

It was so much easier getting up this morning with the sun coming up in my bedroom window. I did really good this weekend. Friday I did strength training and walked outside for 1.25 miles.

Saturday I had lots of homework so I worked on that and then watched scary movies and then couldn’t fall asleep. I made my 14 year old watch them with me. We watch “the last winter” which was so completely stupid and not scary at all. It was about an oil company in Alaska that tapped into an oil field and now the permafrost is melting and the ghosts of all the dead animals are coming up to the surface. Yup, the ghosts were prehistoric flying reindeer, so completely unbelievable.

Then we watched “the Strangers” that was scary, really good and it’s based on actual events so that makes it even creepier. The last movie was “Vacancy”. It wasn’t that scary just suspenseful.

So tonight I plan on doing strength training again and then treadmill. There are 2 sicko’s in the house so I plan on working out hard so I don’t get sick too. Bloated feeling is pretty much gone. On Friday I only ate protein and a ton of veggies, two helpings of salad and a bunch of steamed green beans. Saturday morning it worked itself out and I felt much better.

I drank coffee both Saturday and Sunday morning even though I planned not to.

Well I did good calorie wise but not quality wise with my food yesterday. I did strength training but did not make it onto the treadmill.

Eating wasn’t good, much higher than I wanted. The ice cream is all gone so that’s good news.

Busy, busy, busy. I’m feeling better today, still hoping I haven’t caught what everyone else has. Work has been nuts and so has home life. Lots of running around and it isn’t even holiday related. Yet.

I forgot to journal in yesterday but I kept up my food log. My food for Wed. & yesterday wasn’t bad. On Wed. I did strength training and 20 min on the treadmill for 1.4 miles. Thursday I did 30 min on treadmill for 2.04 miles 7mph 40 sec / 3.5mph 120 sec.

I am going to finish reading my chapter and take my test tonight. Then I am going out for a fish-fry so no exercise today. Saturday I will be able to get some in.

It’s Veteran’s Day! For all you veterans out there THANK YOU!!!!:patriot:

Didn’t go out for a fish-fry on Friday instead my SO had a melt down and we ended up staying home. My oldest son had about four friends over and they stayed up until 3:30am playing video games.:eek:

No exercise Fri, Sat, Sun. Monday the kids didn’t have school so we drove to the Big City and I took them and some of their friends to the mall. I didn’t do structured exercise but I did walk all day and only ate breakfast and dinner.

Today is back to the regular eating schedule and tonight I will do strength training and 20 minutes on the treadmill.

Matt, I like to drink Pabst Blue Ribbon but at 200+ calories it’s not good idea especially when our friends come over and I end up drinking anywhere from 4 to 6 cans. This is within a 3 to 4 hour period. I switched to Bud-Lite and I like that best of all lite beers but then when they came out with MGD 64 I knew I had to make another change.
I don’t like the taste that much, not that it really has much of a taste but what I really don’t like is that it has like a ting to it. I’ve only bought one 12-pack so far so maybe it was a bad batch or something. I just restocked the fridge the other day with a new case and I’m hoping it will grow on me. The good thing is that I can have a can or two after work with my SO and I don’t have to feel guilty or ruin my calorie intake for the day.

Okay, I lost 1 pound this week. Yay! I did good with calories yesterday but not with quality of food. I did strength training and 20 min on the treadmill for 1.4 miles.

I have a lot of homework and reading to do but tonight I will do 30 min on the treadmill. I am ordering 3 different workout videos to use instead of the treadmill. It’s getting crappy outside so I can’t workout outside to change things up. Hopefully, the videos will keep me from getting bored.

Did really well on food yesterday. Except for the cookies I ate very healthy. I did 20 min on treadmill for 1.13miles and 10 min on the elip. at high resistance mountain hike.
In law family problems are starting and it’s not hard on me but hubs is going through some real crap right now.

Whew! What a short weekend. I didn’t do too bad with food this weekend except I ate too many sweets. I have a lot to do this week, homework, getting ready for opening weekend. I leave for the weekend but I have to make sure that I have food & drinks for hubs and the boys.

I didn’t work out Friday but I did strength training and 20 min. of treadmill on Saturday. I did about 20 min of my new step aerobic DVD Sunday.

Tonight I will do 30 min on the treadmill. I also have a lot of homework because I want to get everything done before the weekend.

I did measurements yesterday and they haven’t changed from last month. I’m disappointed but not giving up because I know this is going to take a while. I’m also trying to eat slower and chew my food more before swallowing.
