Tues- HIIT 6AM/ABS

Wed- Spinning at 6AM
Arms and shoulders in the evening/ABS

Thurs- HIIT/ABS

Friday- Spinning
Legs/ABS

My goal is to cut my body fat down to at least 10% while gaining a little mass at the same time..

I am moving to Maui on May 15th so I'm trying to accomplish this in 2 1/2 months.. I know, thats not very much time but I am VERY dedicated and going to be working very hard towards my goal. I have made a few nutrition changes as well. No more beer, no more junk food, and around 2500 calories a day..

Judging by the pictures do you guys/gals think this is possible to do in 2 1/2 months? Thanks for the input!!

sorry for the size of the pictures.....

Ok sop I was just reading up on circuit training and I am starting to think that it would be the most beneficial to me for my goals...

I don't get why you want to lose fat, doesn't look like you have a lot of fat to lose. I'd bulk up if I was you.
It's hard to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time, it is easier as a beginner, but it still is usually better to choose the one or the other.

if you cut you`ll just look skinny with little or no muscle tone.

you are not fat by any means

thats a lot of cardio you`re doing

Thanks, everyone!!

I guess I don't have too much fat to lose... I just want to tone up a little and add a little bulk... Looks like I will just lift hard at night and do HIIT 3 days a week... The main reason for the HIIT is to build up endurance for running and hiking....

Ye i agree bulk then cut...

I have a question about this sort of body type in general (so don't take any offence to your specific body please)....

I have a very similar body shape and size and i dont understand everyone says "u have no fat to lose"... if that were the case then why doesnt someone like these pics or me look all ripped and cut? Its more of a soft sort of look with a little bit of muscle... never understood that

There is fat to lose but it wouldn't do you any good. No offence but there isn't enough muscle to warrant the cut. If you were to cut at this stage you would look like a greyhound.....no offence intended.

They do, but they have more mass on them, and you cannot recognize their body, because it changed. If you cut too early you'll end up looking too skinny
I myself made the mistake of cutting too early, I ended up at 6'1 160, looking like a toothpick. I posted my pictures in the Photo Gallery titled 'After 4 months of hard work' . You'll see what I'm talking about.

Thanks, everypennyspent ;)

Do you guys think the cardio in the AM and the lifting hard in the evening with a healthy diet will kind of balance things out?? As in, losing a little BF while gaining muscle???

It might initially but for the longer term you need to pick one and stick with it. You can't gain any substantial sort of muscles without the calories to build it.

I think if you bulk smart then you will gain vary little fat and I think you will look great. You might want to cut slightly a few months down the track.

Thanks.. But I thinked looked way to skinny on 160 :yelrotflmao: .. didn't even look healthy

OK, well theres not much difference. I had a serious sinus infection for 3 weeks so that hindered my lifting quite a bit. This is from about 2 solid weeks of lifting/cardio.
