Hello all,
Today I finally hit my goal weight of 180 pounds! I've been waiting to post my pictures until I was done, so here they are.
I started my jouney in June 2009, so it's taken just short of 7 months to go from 260 pounds to 180. I've got a diary thread named Daves Path to Normal BMI (http://weight-loss.fitness.com/weight-loss-diary/33105-daves-path-normal-bmi.html) if you want to read about the progress I made each month. All of the details of what/how I did this can be found there, but I can assure you it was nothing more than reducing calories and working my butt off (literally) in my workouts.
When I started I found a lot of inspiration from Jessfrogger, who had just posted his pictures of his very similar completed journey. It went a long way in convincing me that it was possible to do what I wanted to do. To Jessfrogger......thanks man, I owe a lot to you.
If I can give any advice, it would be this. Don't be afraid of change. Change the way you live your life.....what you eat, what you do, and what you think of yourself. You can only accomplish what you think you can do, so convince yourself that you can......and you will.
Good luck to everyone in their quest.
Dave
