Dariqueen, You look so nice in your new clothes. I am so impressed. That green jacket is sporty and you look very trim in it. The jeans are great. I don't think you need to lose much more, I think you are a very nice size now and maybe you just want to keep aiming for more tone. You are beautiful inside and out. My advice would be just to not to give a single second to negative thoughts. Enjoy all that is fabulous about your life and soon those unwanted feelings will be a thing of the past. You've come a long, long way.
 
I had my TOPS official weigh-in tonight. Despite my efforts this week, I did not lose all of the weight I gained on the weekend. :( My own fault. It's not the weight, really, just the knowledge that I was this close to getting my charm for having lost 6 weeks in a row, by one week.

I was 1/4 lb up, so the weight recorder insisted I take my pants off so I would break even. ROFL! So I did. :eek:

However, I am - in accordance with tomorrow's Get Over It Day (thank you Mal) - going to put it behind me and concentrate on having a good week this week. And I'm off to an excellent start today.

Thank you all for your encouraging words. I know that falling off the wagon for an afternoon or even 24 hours is nothing compared to some, and bouncing back after gaining 1.5 lbs isn't a lot compared to others...but it's the emotions behind it. And I appreciate everyone who takes the time to acknowledge that.

I think everyone here can understand your frusteration...no one wants to gain, even 1/4 pd, ;) But your prooving to yourself and everyone here what a successful person you are by letting it go and moving on! Your not letting it get to you and thats the sign of a strong woman!! Keep up the great work Dari, you'll get there!
 
Well, this weekend is going to be hectic but fun. Going to have to watch the calories very carefully.

It's the Winter Whoot...which is our little town's celebration of spring coming (I think). LOL! Today my daughter is going to a birthday party. Tonight is a 'family social', where they have games for the kids, etc. Tomorrow is a chili dinner at the Community Hall, then I'm taking my girl to a movie. It's not a real theater, just a large screen and a video projector. Very uncomfy seats. But since I haven't been to a real theater in 3 years, I'll take it. They're playing "Night at the Museum".
 
Another new outfit :eek: I really gotta stop spending money now. I'll wait until I'm down to goal. Please ignore the horrible socks...I don't even look at them anymore. LOL!

Cute outfit - but I LOVE the socks!

Megan mixes and matches hers all the time - I don't know why I bother to pair them up after the dryer!

Well, it's not been the greatest weekend. My weight, which dropped on Friday, has gone up and up. The thing is, I have been eating under my maintenance level. Not a lot, but enough. And I don't fluctuate. I've been weighing myself everyday for months, and I'm just not one who does.

:( No treats today or tomorrow, we'll see if that helps. Also, I think it's hitting 0 degrees Celcius again today, I'm going to pull the little guy on the sled and get some exercise.

DQ - I tell ya, there are days (and weekends) JUST like that, minor ups and downs - but remember, it's the overall downward progression that we pay attention to :)
 
I know Deb, I'm trying to look at the big picture. And most of the time, I got it. :) It's just that this is my first summer where I won't look/feel like a whale in my bathing suit, I won't hide behind a big ugly t-shirt, etc. I'm so excited for that, I don't want to blow it.
 
A fairly decent day today.

Totals:

1366 calories, 20 minutes of exercise. I hope to do an hour of walking tomorrow, it's supposed to get up to 0 Celcius. :)
 
Brrrrrr..i'm cold just thinking about that kind of weather!

WTG on your cals and excersize :) i'm proud of you !!
