hello dari, congrats on losin sum weight!! I have gained a few, and now peq is in the lead! AHHH! lol. Hope ur doin great, just got internet back at my house so im gonna be here to harass everyone all the time now :D

Yay, Em's around to harass everyone now! :D

Bad eating weekend. Well, compared to the old days, not too bad. Just worse than usual lately. Oh well. I'm still at about 158 as of this morning. I did walk uptown and back twice today, so that's about 20 minutes or so. And the thermometer said -40.


The baby is starting to scoot around and make real sounds, not just cooing. This is my favorite baby stage.:)

Oh, it gets worse Deb. -42 according to my thermometer, and that's not including wind chill. And we're stuck in the house all day because I loaned my ex the car...he should have been here 15 minutes ago :( I hoped he plugged it in last night.
 
I'll never get used to the idea of "plugging in a car" (it's that block heater thingy right?)

So DQ - are ya hopin for a little Global Warming?

While I hate the idea of global warming, it would be a nice temporary thing. Actually, up until Christmas is was perfect weather here. About -10 C, which I love.

So, I'm a little confused about my goal weight. I'm down to 156.8 today. My initial goal was for 150, then I changed it to 140. I don't want to be all skin and bones. But I still have sooo much fat on my stomach, my thighs still look the same, and my arms are still heavy. I wish I knew what my body was supposed to be at, because I have no clue. I got fat before my body was fully grown or developed. :(

over -20 here I guess it could be worse like where you are.
Our schools had an hour delay cuz of the temp and our schools
rarely close or delay.140 sounds good and no you don't wanna be
skin and bones.I need major help getting 35 lbs off me by summer
besides me cheating can you offer any advice like as far as exerscing
and food I am a good walker when weather is good but it is rediculously
cold out and we have 2-4 inches of snow coming now.

Anyway I have a stationary bike a treadmill eliptical and a ab roller
and a gazelle.Can you put together some sort of exersice routine
with some of the machines I listed?Thank you Tammy:)
 
Actually Tammy, I suck at exercise :eek: I have to force myself to get in my 30 min, 5 times a week. I do the minimum :eek: For myself, my own personal opinion (no flames from die-hard workoutaholics please!), I notice that a lot of people who get frustrated with the scale not budging are the ones who seem to workout (cardio) the most. It's like they're overdoing it. Maybe I'm still consistently losing because I'm just doing some, and not everyday. Who knows?
 
Did anyone watch Oprah today? I love the new Dove campaigns, I think they're awesome.

The little clip with Mariel Hemingway touched a chord in me. She said that the little voice in your head, the part of you that says you're not good enough, not pretty enough, not thin enough, whatever...if that was a friend saying those things to you, you (hopefully) wouldn't be their friend anymore.

Something to think about.
